Mavs guarantees?! IF my team was coming off of two terrible playoff losses ...AND also just made a major trade and my coach just sat the player who was the key to the aforementioned deal i would not be predicting anything ...Lakers should win but you guys need that game A LOT more than we do ...

This is a regular season game anyway, and 2 of the 3 best Laker defenders are injured (Ariza, Bynum) - Dallas does actually look pretty good (now in the regular season, when they always look good)

Dallas fans also do a lot of talking (also now in the regular season, when they have looked good the last few seasons)

Remember, they have a lot to "overcompensate" for - this is a team that has only made it out of the first round of the playoffs 6 times in the last 21 years, and been eliminated 2 out of the last 4 years in the first round (as have the Lakers, but we Laker fans have all those championship banners hanging from the rafters to make us feel good).

Kobe got all the touch fouls while Dirk gets hammered. those refs. 50-25 is the difference in the game. You are being an enormous homer to think otherwise.

Amazing how Laker fans complain about officiating when the Lakers shot 50 free throws to the Mavs' 25. Kobe had 27 free throws. Dallas committed 6 more personal fouls than the Lakers. I'd be ing happy and I wouldn't say a damn word about the officiating.
