Not with players like Farmar and freakin Vuitich hitting everything...Lakers look unstopable![]()
Well there it is.
Any of you Laker es want to bet me on it?

I think the Mavs win, and I think they win big.
Pau Gasol has been Dirk's personal for just about all of his career.
Josh Howard is up to the Kobe challenge.
And Jason Kidd is gonna make Vujacic look stupid out there.
Mavs win by double digits. Book it.
a bullsfan callin out faker supporters....
epic
Now you just being silly....![]()
This is true. Gasol still has residue on his face for all the times he's been owned by Dirk.
even if you do win it will be a hollow victory, Bynum ain't back yet.
It's gonna be alot tougher to wash it out now with that beard.
Excuses..Excuses...![]()
Should we also take bets on who will be the first to bump this thread if the Lakers win?
Without Bynum we aren't beating top WC teams. His defense and rebounding is something we sorely miss.
It doesn't come out. He just has to smell it. That's why he's always got that ugly ass look on his face.
even if the lakers win, it's a hollow victory. Kidd hasn't had enough time to mesh with the team.
got.
Yeah, but Dallas is soft inside. We should be able to take them, but it's no slam dunk. No way they beat us in a playoff series with a healthy Bynum though.
We are the only team in the WC that doesn't have to kill themselves to win games. We have the easiest schedule left and we can beat 90% of those teams sleep-walking. The only thing I care about is getting everyone healthy and gelling together. A fully healthy Laker squad will stomp all over the Mavs.
They better or I will be disappointed
Nobody said he's Shaq. But he's damn good. Since you bring up that "he's only averaging 13 and 10", it shows you're only looking at his year stats and not actually watching the games. The guy impacts the game offensively and defensively, he's a beast in the paint. As soon as he comes back you'll see how much he brings. There's a reason why every GM in the League wanted him.
And since you like stats so much, check out the boxscores before he got hurt. Or just ask suns fans how good he is.
Kwame Brown was the starting center for most of the season and split minutes with Bynum. His work with Kareem is paying huge dividends...excellent footwork for a 20 year old.
Bynum was averaging like 20 and 12 in the 10-15 games before he got injured.
Lakers will win this one handily. Win or lose I'll be one of the first to bump the thread on Sunday, don't worry![]()
I'll take that bet![]()
What are the terms? And ing make them good.
I hope you guys win,
On TNT they said Vujacic gave himself his own nickname, "The Machine"
He didn't start the first 9 games of the season (Kawame Brown was starting), and PJ was limiting his minutes the first 21 games to about 26 minutes a game.
He was playing so well that Phil increased his minutes for the next 15 games (before he got injured) to about 33 minutes a game.
In those 15 games he averaged 16.5 pts, 10.7 rebounds, 2.3 blocks and 2.2 assists per game (including the game he was injured, which he played 20 minutes), and was altering many of the shots coming in the paint. The Lakers record during those games was 13-2, including wins against Phoenix, Utah, and New Orleans.
He is still very young, and although Laker fans are saying that he will be the savior when he returns from injury, he has never been "battle tested" in the playoffs - still, this team could be pretty scary good when he returns - will it happen this year or wait until next year (with some more maturity) - only time will tell.
I think we are more excited about what this kid could end up being. Is he going to be Shaq in his prime? No one will, but I see a very high ceiling for him.
