Sorry to tell you but no one had any idea just how much money Manu would be offered by teams who had the maximum salary available the summer he was a free agent, and Hedo counted $6 million against the Spurs' salary cap that summer until they renounced his rights.

Jack also ended up signing for more than Barry, but when you hate the Spurs as much as ploto it's easier to think that the Spurs and Dan Fegan were the best of friends and could have worked out an even smaller deal over a beer the first day of free agency because of their history of eskimo kisses and mutual backrubs.
