man, in my mind, letting turk go was the biggest mistake. They let him go way to fast.
I'm also not sold on beno. I haven't seen him play lately or anything, but i doubt that he has improved his game that much. He's the same player he was in SA, it's just that now he's playing with confidence, he's getting a lot of minutes, and he has the starting pg position in SAC locked so he has nothing to worry about.
The problem with him is on good team, he IS NOT a starting pg. He's a back-up. And he will never be good as a back up. That we have already learned. He is horrible when he's not getting a lot of minutes and when he doesn't have job security. Basically, he sucks when there is pressure on him to perform well in a limited amount of time.
turk is good, but I think scola will turn out to be a better player

people don't want to hear it, but if we hadn't lucked out with the ping pong balls in 97, Pop and RC begin to look VERY Average
in fact, if it not for Duncan, we might not even remember those two anymore at this point in time
I've always defended Pop and FO but forget about those players who went on to play well elsewhere for a minute.
We need to make a list of those who were brought in and didn't/couldn't contribute here or anywhere else when they left here. Those were even worse mistakes.

Pop and RC have done a great job but they did have their follys. most noteably Scola.

Maybe this, Maybe that, but one things certain we've won four championships without all these guys at some point or another, and we're still in the hunt for another regardless of the moves 'mistakes' or not.
And Udonis Haslem, for that matter.
