Lmao at all the people not even predicting the Mavs to make the playoffs. I might have said the same thing a week ago, but at this point its just foolish. We have a 3 game lead on GS and will get the job done.
I made mine before yesterday's game. I didn't thought dirk would be ok so quickly. They would definitly make the playoffs. And if they don't face the spurs in the first round they could make the WCF

On offense, if they can even get the ball into him, its hack-a-Shaq. Its common knowledge Shaq sucks at free throws, and his dominant days he had with the Lakers are over.
New Jersey and Philadelphia tried your hack a Shaq theory - ask them how that worked. Shaq nailed 5 in a row against New Jersey. If he starts getting fouled intentionally down the stretch, they will pull him out. Suns team ranks first or second in best freethrow shooting percentage. Again, Shaq does not have to be the dominant player he was in order to be effective for this team.

The Suns ARE hungrier, watch them play out there on court right now. They are giving it their all and then some.
I'm not entirely convinced the Suns are hungrier than the Spurs at this point. I know every player on our team is craving a repeat, especially Duncan. That doesn't mean the Suns can't beat us but I don't think they are hungrier.

The Suns are definitely hungrier. Watching the Suns recently, I've noticed that every single game they've played in the last few weeks has been scrappy, full of technicals, full of anger. Nash, in particular, looks more pissed than he ever has, and he's also playing fantastic ball. They're playing like a team on a mission.

Jury's out on whether or not it'll give us the edge over the Spurs, though.

Whatever gives you hope for a brighter day.

The spurs are crushing teams the last few games.

They are in ass kicking mode.

Of course, will to win only gets you so far; you have to have the talent, and even luck, at those crucial moments.

Nash is your best player, your most clutch and your most dependable. I admit he is a great player. It will come down to D for you guys, though, and your man-to-man still sucks.

That's because the Suns are y, and when things don't go their way they start to throw tantrums.

Suns play Spurs one more game before the regular season ends. We might judge better how these teams match up now the Suns almost fully integrated Shaq. But one thing is for sure. With Shaq on TD, Spurs offense won't be as effective as they used to be against the Shaq-less Suns. And I don't believe the one-on-one plays by TD, Manu, and Parker alone would be enough to beat the Suns.

If Ginobli, Parker, and Duncan can so easily get Shaq into foul trouble and nullify his impact then why didn't they do that when they last played? If anything, the facts show that Shaq usually gets the best of Duncan and throws him off his game.
because the refs didn't have the balls to foul him out.

No matter how it shakes out this looks to be Duncan's toughest road yet. It's also the season that I think he wants the repeat more than he has the last three chances he's had. He knows better than any of us how much longer he'll have the chance to repeat.

My money is on a hungry Duncan. He's going to be a beast like we've never seen. He's paced himself for now. He's healthy and he has an experienced cast around him. They've been through this war and that experience is gold. Parker has arrived and Manu is...well, Manu is Manu. The role players are in place. Pop is brilliant. It's the best shot Duncan has had. He rises to challenges, he won't disappear.

It's going to be a blast to watch.

Everyone does PNRs. Nash-Amare is the best at that. The advantage Spurs have over other teams, particularly over Shaq-less Suns, is to dump it to Duncan in the post. And Shaq makes that ineffective, unless hits his 18 footers all game long.

If you didn't beat us when you had one of the best and most versatile players in the NBA? How do you expect to beat us now that you trade him for a 36 years old fattie that can't even stay on the court for more than 20 minutes?

This is the first time in a long time where I can truly say I will be interested not only with Phoenix's playoff run but all the Western Conference first round match-up's. I don't know about anybody else, but I could care less seeing a Caviliers/Bulls or Magic/Wizards kind of match-up. It does not carry the same kind of intrigue for me. It's my living in the West Coast bias. The only East Coast playoff match-up I would truly watch would be Pistons/Celtics.

Frealz. It's not like Duncan knows any post moves or has good foot movement.

We dont really post him much anymore, most of his points come from pick and rolls, offensive rebounds, and some assists,....
