Iguadala is more Derek Fisher than Robert Horry to me.
Thought the same but everyone running wild with Horry comps.

iggy and horry aren't in the same category. horry was an average role player who showed up huge with clutch shots. he was never a very good overall player. solid defender but no accolades. his best statistical year he put up 12 and 6. iggy has been an all-defense player, an all-star, etc. he's been a 20-5-5 guy that took some poor sixers teams to the playoffs.

iggys career reminds me more of j-kidd but without kidd's peak.

GS is still in big trouble. Other than one amazing spurt to end 2nd then into 3rd, they have not been able to crack TOR defense.

Couple that with Klay now being legit hobbled (I doubt he plays GM3, but even if he does, re-injury is a big concern), KD alone wont save them.

Their half court offense was struggling already and I didn’t see anything last game that leads me to believe they have a consistent solution.

It will have to be won on defense and they have not exactly been playing high IQ ball on that end. Dray has to play like an MVP just to keep them in games.

His injuries are a media narrative so everyone can rave about how tough he is.

When he doesn't have an injury he has some mysterious illness that's keeping him down. I don't believe this is a media narrative as much as it is a brand issue. Sure the media participate in it but Curry and his camp do this to salvage the brand I think. It's amazing how many top-tier players aren't feeling well during the most important games but seem just fine at the clubs.

Nowadays, even before they play the game they set up a narrative in case they do poorly. It's basically a flop pre planned to get to the merchandising free throw line.

MVP Donkey might want to cut down on those full-court passes that end up being intercepted.

Agreed with all of this. The way they've consistently won on defense so far is by giving up wide open 3s that Toronto doesn't knock down. I don't count them out because everyone on Toronto not named Kawhi is unreliable and could easily continue ing up before KD and Klay get back but it's unlikely.

Very good points. Like when Lebron had a cast after losing a finals lol that was weak. But curry always has something wrong every time theres adversity. And it always releases pre game or during to help him look better as DMC was saying.

True tbh, Curry is far from the first player who does this.

The most pathetic was when Kobe jammed his finger and his camp attributed every bad shooting night to a "broken finger" for the following 3 months

Yup - he’s so smart but has made some really dumb passes. Game 1 was the worst I’ve seen him play from an IQ perspective; game 2 was dramatically better but he still had a few bad passes that led to Raps points.

You won't find me ever argue that the Perkins injury excuse wasn't bull . Props to MVPau for being the team leader that he was and taking advantage of a shorthanded Celtics front line.

All true, but Kawhi looks visibly limited, as well..he's still giving you decent offense, but his defense just isn't there right now..

These teams don't have the same margin for error..
