a strong start to the 3rd will kill the mavs, the beginning of the 3rd is crucial!

You can never stop drinking.
Sounds like a traditional Mavs/Spurs playoff game. Credit Dallas for staying aggressive on the defensive end. Spurs have to keep exploiting bad matchups and move the ball until they find a hole in the Mavs' zone defense.
Im tired of these y little ers. Lets stomp their ing scrotum early in the third & finally SHUT THESE GOTS UP.
I wish we had bigger than a 13-point lead after how bad Dallas played in the first half, but we should be able to hold this lead, regardless.
Carlisle will cost us this series. The entire Dallas fan base has been dying for Roddy to play some minutes for both JJB and Terry and Roddy B is proving why.
Re-establish Tim on the block early.
Mavs lucky to be in penalty early. They want us on the line unless it's Manu.
IMO it all will depend on the 5 first minutes of the 3rd
We need a strong start in the 3rd, like Dallas did to us last game
Give the ball to Manu and attack. Haywood and Dirk have 3 fouls
Spurs still got this! Mavs made a run per usual....they will still get on some more mini-runs in the 2nd half. Spurs just have to brave the storm and be aggressive on both ends of the floor. Mavs shooting 35% - gotta keep that up.......rather down.
I don't drink. The occasional one here and there, but not to get drunk.
Trust me though, I know how this league works. When things are going that perfect in a game of this magnitude, it's almost guaranteed to do a 180. And with the amount of time left in this game, the Spurs are far from out of the woods. The Mavs have already weathered the storm.
The lack of a three-point attack for the Spurs is really killing this team when it comes to getting separation. As well as they can play, with the way they're shooting free-throws and often settling for the jumper, they're not giving themselves the margin of error their teams of the past afforded them.
Roddy B. is special. For a rookie to come in and play like that, on the road and in the playoffs, against the hated rival? He took the reins and assumed Alpha Male offensively right off the bat; impressive.
I'm not sure why Pop felt compelled to put Hill on Roddy and Parker on Kidd, but that needs to be switched; Parker's better against the shifty, waterbug-types and we all know how well Hill defends Kidd.
No settling in the second half. If the three-point shot isn't going to be a huge asset, so be it. Attack, attack and attack until you've set a free-throw attempt record; that should be the mindset, at least.
Good first quarter. Let's hope the Spurs realize Roddrique can actually play, is the new improved Harris, and treat him as such.
Parker should guard him. Hill not good at guarding the lightning fast guards.
Spurs should be able to gut this one out on defense alone. They've shown this series that they have what it takes to stop the Mavs fairly consistently and they have figured out how to score on the Mavs at will. The penetration has been there for the Spurs all series long.
Not more worried than what could be labeled appropriate fear. This series should be over in an hour or so.
i would like for Pop to let manu have the point for the rest of the game
This except Dirk has 4.
I agree, I've seen this story before.
Carlisle to Beaubois is what Pop was to Hill last year.
I expect great things from Beaubois next season if Carlisle lets him play.
lmao Chuck "Mamma, you fired"
