Testimony can certainly be combined with other evidence and can , in fact, be used as evidence.
Testimony can be a piece of evidence in a criminal case.
Someone can lie and perjure themselves also - but a jury or judge can decide that a witness testimony is acceptable evidence.

What worries me though, is that this group of criminals isn't smart enough to discourage violence. The maga bomber terrorist, and the other gun nut terrorist they just arrested are not the first, nor will they be the last.

IF Conservatives do not worship guns, we would expect to see a variety of opinions on things like gun control, and conservatives willing to vote for such things.
I know exactly what an oath means. It commits the person taking the oath to a penalty of perjury if they lie. It does not however create evidence other than testimony. Testimony still has to have something to back it up otherwise it's just hearsay under oath.
