It’s really hard to believe sochan comes off the bench
I keep wondering what makes everyone think Wemby will just be different, but hoping he will![]()

Kings fan here! Had another account back when we took each other on way back in 2006 and this is still one of the greatest forums there is. You all have an absolute SQUAD!
Thanks. I like that Sacramento is back as a playoff team after so long. But sucks that you guys had to give up Halliburton. That kid is forever linked here with the Spurs as the player picked after our Devin Vassell. I still think Devin will have a great NBA career, but Halliburton is already way ahead.
Cidy gotta be on a 2-way.. surely.
Barlow probably gets a 2- way as well
Branham/ Tre/ Wesley
Vassell/ Graham/ Julian
Sochan/ Keldon/ Bullock
Wemby/ Osman/ McDermott/ Sidy
Collins/ Bassey/ Mamu/ Barlow
Graham, Collins, McDermott probably get traded by mid-season and then we secure Barlow with a contract
In this scenario one of these players would need to be cut or traded by the regular season right? Assuming Sidy is on that guaranteed contract.
McDermott will be in the rotation and Collins is far more likely to be extended than traded.
I agree. I think Wemby starts at 5 but Sochan will be playing the bigs on defense. There are only a few large bodies Sochan has to worry about.
I doubt Collins is traded, we're not overflowing with options that provide what he does (tough big who can shoot). McDermott I thought would be traded, with Wemby on board now I'm not so sure, they may consider him important for his development (and the rest of the young guys) in that he provides the spacing they'll need. Main candidates to be shipped in a trade mid season are: 1) Bullock (someone will overpay for him) 2) Graham (someone with an extra year plus assets) 3) Osman (expiring used as salary filler).
Meh, I view Collins as an empty stats guy who doesnt really impact the win total and may able to fool some GM into giving up some assets. We all have our guys we think this about.
It's summerleague. It's a glorified scrimmage
His theoretical fit next to Wembanyama (versatility that should allow them to be interchangeable offensively) is too rare to discard for the middling asset(s) he's worth.
Wait, what ? Where do you get that statement about French people ? That’s just dumb.,.
The kid is 19, he isn’t mentally softer than any other guy, just give him time.
Pretty clear you didn't see him carry his team to the league finals.
I would think an all world generational talent would be able to win the weak(as compared to the NBA) French le.
this is contraindicated for you
Just shut up.
I've seen many of your posts in here.
You add nothing to the discussions other than to attack people.
You should be thinking about when you need to stop talking out of your ass.
I like Malaki, but I think Tre gets that starting PG position. They really need a true PG general like Avery in there. Malaki I think plays combo and behind Devin.
It’s Julian who is intriguing. He is definitely pushing to get more minutes by the way he’s playing. He is big and could play SF. I’m sure Pop would play small to speed it up with Keldon/McD at 4 and Barlow/Mamu at 5.
Wow, Spurs are starting to have real solid bench here. Good problem.
If Champagnie continues his good play, I think McD gets traded, depends on the return. I like his leadership in there. Graham for sure is out. Collins stay. The kid is a fighter and has plenty of dog in him and that’s going to be big for Pop.
Wemby just went back to running a one-footed 3 in practice.
That tells me he's not comfy and he's going back to...
I would not be surprised if Collins plays really well next to Victor.
