The first 4 minutes of the second half are going to be big. If the Mavs make a run, watch out.
Yup...Spurs better be ready for the bumrush coming out of halftime. Carlisle ain't no joke. This one's gonna be all-even going into the 4th more than likely.

The Mavs aren't going to go away tbh. They'll cut into this deficit, at least enough to get us sweating.

I'm also really curious as to what Tony said to Blair during that scuffle

Unfortunately I anticipate a politically correct answer during the postgame interviews (assuming the spurs win game 7 and the spurs players are in good spirits) "Oh it was nothing...just a little trash talk"

Pop needs to be locked in a closet too, let your guys take it home. No Ayres, no Marco
I think he was just resting up Manu

People have complained all this series about the spurs not showing enough aggression and about calls going against us and not ever connecting the two things. The spurs have been the more aggressive team in the first half and have gotten a lot of foul calls go their way.

Regardless of whether NoNo thinks the calls are biased in favor of the Spurs or not, two foul calls on Splitter against Nowitzki were totally bogus calls and would not have been made in most situations. But the fouls served to break momentum (intended or not) and give a chance to the Mavs.

So far ( notice I said so far) our big three have outscored the entire Mavs team. That is not due to the refs. That is not because we have gotten any calls. It is because our big three came to play today and are all hustling more than I have seen them hustle all series, and that has paid off with some calls going their way as well.

Manu is simply brilliant so far today, and Parker's shot is out-of-this world.

It blows my mind every time Splitter gets called for a foul while standing straight up with his hands up.
Yeah Splitter's defense on dirk has been nothing short of phenomenal, and yet he's gotten the short end of the stick at least twice.

Pop recognizes that the attention is off him, the mastermind might rear his head. We might see Bonner, Ayres, Marco on the floor at the same time

Dallas has weapons, they aren't going out without making a run, tbh..

Dirk, Ellis and Carter can go off at any time..

Spurs just need to limit turnovers and transition points and they'll be fine IMO..

Clippers choked away a 24 point lead at home against the Spurs in 2012... Anything can happen.

Or if Manu keeps playing like he did in the first half, we will win also. As I mentioned elsewhere, our big three outscored the entire Mavs team.

We will win or lose the game as a team as we always do.
Way to cover the bet tbh

Parker won't play that well second half and I hope that 1/3 of what Parker produced first half would be enough
it's not "covering the bet"... this Tony has only shown up in this series in spurts... this game he brought it for the entire half...

Gino is playing great, but the Spurs shouldn't bet on him sustaining it for the whole game... if it happens, great.

Oh ok they just showed it on the replay. Parker crosses his defender over, gets to the lane, and Carter is called for a touch foul that probably wasn't a foul.

    Oh well.

lol he probably wouldnt even say "trash talk", he'd probably fluff it all and call it, just a "friendly banter".
