Foul calls have nothing to do with your seed and everything to do with not being aggressive.
Aggression definitely is a key factor but it is pretty easy to see that the home team usually gets the benefit of the doubt on close calls. Just look at game 6 of the Spurs-Mavs series as an example.

oh and not to mention....the spurs really aren't playing that badly...
Duncan, Jefferson, McDyess, and Manu are a combined 6-18. Any worse than that and they would have to give some of their salary back.

Agreed...a few Nash to Stoudamire pick and roll dunks to start the 2nd half will have Pop clearing the bench. I don't see this series going past 5 games if the Spurs can't defend the paint and rebound better than this.
Hey, you were the one already calling the series over in game 1 vs the Mavs..

You would understand if everything you say isn't taken seriously. Right?

I like what Gentry has done with J-Rich by having him post up George when he's defending...wish we had some guys that could do that.

I hope the guys will come strong at the beginning of the 3rd, if the suns begin with a run I can see Pop just giving it up

I'm ready for TP to start. Makes too much sense on both ends of the court. TP is pretty good against Nash and Nash has no chance to defend TP.

Hill is a fish out of water when trying to defend Nash.
I think Pop will give Hill another shot to start the 2nd half, if it doesn't work out TP will start for the rest of the series.

It sucks that the Spurs have to match the size of Richardson, Hill and Dudley by using the undersized George Hill and Roger "worst defender in the NBA" Mason..
Doesn't make things any easier, that's for sure. I might look into giving Bogues some minutes at some point with a decent offensive lineup.

I think Duncan's knees are more of an issue than we're told. It's a matter of severity on any given night, he can be okay one day and bad the next. Duncan, and the team, never play the injury card, we're not being told how he is day-to-day. We're getting the sound bites that he feels okay, and at that moment he may.

But I can't think of any other reason for his game varying so much in the Playoffs. This is his time of year, he just doesn't wuss out. If he's off there's a reason.

How can you say the Spurs have not played that poorly when the Suns shot 56% and outrebounded the Spurs by 7. BTW, The Suns also have almost 60 points at halftime.

WE NEED ENERGY. What do I think the Spurs should do right now?

    Start Tony.

If Timmy continues to struggle early in the 3rd, pull him for Blair. At least Blair will give us that rookie hustle.

Put the ball in Tony and Manu's hands. Manu seemed to pick it up in the 2nd. Tony seems to be doing fine when driving the the basket.

    Release RMJ at halftime.

Also, I know this isn't popular, but how could Bogans help us in this series? Is it possible to put him on Nash?

I wouldn't mind seeing Bogans over Mason on Richardson. The problem is, if he gets switched out on Nash, it's a guaranteed layup.
