It's amazing how all of our 3 point shooters are slumping at the same time.
Bonner, Neal, Green, RJ all of them.
It's no knock on you, but the only reason they don't play together is Pop... so who I have to point my finger to?
Tiago was doing a good job on Cousins, and Tim can provide the offense... I don't know what's Pop thinking, tbh

That was 05 man lol, he has hit some as well (Moreso than not), why bring this up now? That game was all on Pop there, Green had a horrible shot as well at the end.
What is Pop doing? Green taking the last shot? The floater ain't in his game.
Love the way Greens been playing and it's not a knock on him but I'm not so sure I'd like Anderson to be completely out of the lineup for good already. Would like to see him get at least one more shot with some consistent minutes before they bury his ass on the bench for good this year.
Heck, this was a game where if Manu is healthy you would sit him out to rest... Kings are that bad on the road... this is only their second win...
Inexcusable loss when the game was within reach
Green gets a lot slack here, and sometimes rightly so, but his at ude on the court, to me, it's a great addition... he plays with a passion. That's why I despise looking at RJ with the deer-in-the-headlights at ude... it's like black and white
Why do we "know" this? He has just over one hour of NBA floortime.
Just got back from the game.
Pathetic...
I agree. Corey should play, at least while TJ is out. That's what the regular season is for.
Yet another Spurs' draft pick given up on and destined for a trade for a conditional second rounder...
We seriously just lost at home to one of the worst teams in the league? .
Particulaly this year. The Spurs ing knew that they weren't going to have training camp when they picked him. I'm unsure how Pop thinks he has the luxury of not playing Joseph, not playing Anderson, and only giving Splitter a few minutes a night.
The Spurs should see this season as a retooling one.
Send Duncan to the house. He absolutely has nothing left. Only reason he still there is because of commodity.
Pop needs to GTFO too. They have been running his game for wayyyy to long.
Write it down, if teh Spurs somehow make it to the playoffs they will get the same treatment as last year.
Please change that pic Harlem, my goodness.
Then all one has to do is look at the Laker bench and the grass looks like emeralds. Thank god I dont root for this team. Metta World... They are going to run the 2nd unit offense thru Metta world idiot says Brown.
Jesus that is a desolate view...
lol some people on here expect players like CJ and Anderson to be as well developed as Leonard or Manu in their rookie years.
I've seriously never seen a coach that turns on his own draft picks so quickly, and I've never seen a fanbase that just echoes that at ude without any thought.
Ok.
I think he is in way over his head. You need more time to see him fail. got it. I watched the kid at Texas. He really should have stayed.
That better?
I thought he should have stayed. J. Brown at Texas completely took over from him. I watched it. You want to give him time, thats what the Toros are for and where he was. I never expected the 29th choice in the draft, a raw freshman to ever be Leonard or Manu. I thought he should have stayed a year more in college like many others who follow Texas. He is a raw basketball athlete. Emphasis on athlete imo.

We don't have a backup PG. Why did we draft him if he can't even be a third string PG in the NBA?
That sir, is an excellent question.
Probably because of his athleticism.
I am not the only one that was shocked having watched him. I watched him basically start out great and then fade and basically lose his status to J. Brown. As a Texas and a Spurs fan I hope I am wrong.
Sure, I think every first round draft pick should be given one or two minutes at a time until he s up, because "pick 29 is always a gamble", and then when he's got 70 total minutes, he should be given up on and sit on the bench until the end of his rookie contract regardless of the fact that there's only one other point guard on the roster that's healthy at the moment. Sacrificing Gary Neal by trying to turn him into Roger Mason is much better than just trying to play him. God knows the Spurs' philosophy of having young players playing in fear of being pulled at the first mistake has been endlessly successful for the team.
It's really great that you decided what Joseph was on draft night, and don't seem to want him to even get a chance to prove you wrong. Maybe he'll get hit by a bus or something so we never have to find out for sure.
I have no problem shipping him to the Toros when TJ and/or Manu come back. But until then, as horrible as he might be, it's all we have at the backup PG spot.
