Knicks are improved, but I'd be pretty surprised if they make the playoffs, even in the East..
As long as they're compe ive enough to where they don't give away players to Lebron, tbh.

Next game will be the first challenge since OKC, looking forward to it..
Washington has looked pretty terrible so far outside Wall/Beal tbh. Might end up being the easiest of the three.

BEyond that... the job he did on Anthony. He was all over this game. Seriously, if he's healthy for most of the season, he's a serious MVP candidate.
He would be if an all around game impressed voters, but it rarely does. Kawhi will not score enough PPG to get serious consideration.

It was an easy 35 minute b/c he was playing point center from the top of the key instead of banging w/ Lopez.
that's an extremely underrated part about bringing in Aldridge that I've mentioned before but nobody seemed to care.

Good call. All minutes are not the same.

Wow I had not noticed that.

I do think we probably don't want to be playing the vets this much.
Well you should apply for a coaching job and tell Pop about it

For most of his career, sure but Lebron has used him effectively.

He was putrid in the Finals and almost singlehandedly lost the Cavs game 2 with his mind-numbing plays.

Most important stat of that game is minutes played by Durant and Westbrook. Keep 'em on the floor.

He'd have to be in the discussion if he plays like this most the season. He's on another level even with a few mishaps to clean up.

He's destroyed Durant and Melo in the same week. Pretty crazy.
He also did a solid job bottling up Isaiah Thomas (the leading bench scorer in the NBA)when he was checking him.

Then he pressed CP3 from half court and the rest is history. Forgot he shot that well in that game though..wasted performance.
Danny gave it his all in game 7. He was average most of the series, but he showed up for game 7.

Really surprised West didn't get more minutes tonight.
I was surprised Pop kept Diaw until the end, instead of subbing West in. That was weird. Timmy getting 35 minutes, that is West's minutes right there... hmmmm

For sure. That post game interview still hits me in the feels.

Danny is one of my favorite Spurs butI'll just always kinda blame him for losing that game..or maybe it was Pop who told him to press..idk it bugged me for the longest

Why don't we just call some more left block post-ups for Aldridge? We can go entire quarters without calling the favourite play of our star free agency sign.
