This is why lots of us hoped these gots wouldn't even make the playoffs. Would have been better to get a higher draft pick than to watch these s get swept.
Agreed. I was concerned for the last few weeks the Spurs might end up playing the Warriors and the worst situation did happen. A series against any team besides Warriors or Rockets would have been fun to watch. This is going to be a terrible snooze fest much like last year was.

Maybe it’s someone that isn’t in the roster because Manu still is. Manu is my favorite Spur ever. It’s not an indictment on him, his heart, or legacy.

He’s 40 and can’t consistently give you what you need anymore. I don’t get how hard it is to understand that guys get old and can’t play at that elite level anymore consistently.

Sometimes it’s a loose ball they just can’t get too. Sometimes it’s a rotation their body just won’t allow them to make anymore. Its little things like that that cost you over the course of a game or series. When your old, your old. Points or no points you’re still old.

Now Manu will have a big game or moment this series, and I’ll appreciate it and be thrilled because of the legend he is. It doesn’t change my mind that I still think it’s time for him to go, and for the Spurs to move on.
Manu is a role player now. Role players never give you consistently what you need, no matter if you are 40 or 20.

Manu has a vet minimum salaray, what player can you get for that money that would be considerable better than him?

I would disagree. (But I understand there are differences on this point.)

Only good thing is they going to have a hard time selling tickets next season I’d they bring these crappy players back. Only players I want to see next year are LMA, Gay, Manu, Murray and White. That is it time time to clean out the trash.

No, based on how both squads have been playing on the road over the last 2 months ... not that it changes anything, but at least it'd be more fun watching those players (who seem to have more chemistry than their big league counterparts

Nice to see you back, Ace. We're going to need your help covering the draft now that DX is gone.
    Good to be back.

In regards to the draft, I don't follow college basketball enough to be familiar will all the prospects, but as the draft approaches I'll start to get a read on the talent. Right now my 2 favorite players are:

    1. Mikal Bridges
    2. Jaren Jackson Jr.

Patty quickly became my least favorite player.

He was fine off the bench in a 20 minute role. But as a starter is pathetic.

Seriously can't understand why pop continues to play him so much.
Pop is the problem. Why put Mills on Klay? He was abused last years playoff, Why not make an adjustment? Mills almost played the entire 3rd doing nothing.

Jaren Jackson Jr.? I heard that name before, but didn't realize it was Jr. Is that the former Spurs player's son?

Yep son of Spurs' Jaren Jackson ; Jr. was born on September 15, 1999 after the Spurs won their first Championship.

Fathead, his son is going tear up your joint
Since you have been out: I don't get triggered like I used to. Troll away.
I like White and wouldn't mind him at all playing and tearing someone up.

You said Kiwi wept but it was you who wept. You care more than Kiwi does. At least you watch the games. You would have watched in person from the first row if given the opportunity.

Kiwi has sucked this year as a franchise player. Simple.

And over half the team ...
I hope he plays better next game. He's played very well against them in the past.
Kiwi isn't coming back so it's going to be ugly.

Pop cannot make in game adjustments. If it’s not on the notecards in his pocket, he ain’t doing it. Kerr knows this.

This game was lost when the GSW starting lineups walked on the floor and it included McGee and Iguodala.

We actually shot the 3 pretty well. Not aggressive enough. Need Gay to start for sure. TP and Mills were especially bad. I doubt Game 2 is as lopsided, but that doesn't mean we can win. Maybe the fans will inspire them to keep up the strong play at home. I'm going to the games to see Manu tbh. Enjoying watching Gay and LMA as well!

They have to figure out a way to win two of the next three. No way this team is coming back from 1-3. Granted, we may get swept by this pathetic paper tiger.
