Bruno, provided he wants to, could Lorbek come over to the Spurs in time for the season, or does he have contractual / buyout issues that necessitate waiting another year or so?
Bertans still falling.

Benson, Leuer or Bertans.
CROFL Tyler coached by Bob Hill. Another good reason not to want him.
They have too many low IQ players. Bismarck, Corey, Tyrus, DeSagana and now Tyler. OMG what a combo
The Bucks are now trying to obtain the rights to Francisco Elson and Speedy Claxton.
Bilas seems to look like he doesn't really want to be there. A few times they've asked him questions, and he sits there in a daze.![]()
Bonner is going nowhere.
people really want another 6-10 ginger at 42 eh?
yeah I really don't understand why we didn't take him at 29. The Spurs better be able to find a reliable big man that's already in the league.
I'm just wondering if they thought they couldn't retain Hill after next season, so they rather start grooming somebody else now...
Thank God Tyler's gone - I have no idea why there's so much desire for such an immature kid...
he actually might be pretty good in his 2nd contract (which will be w/ his 2nd team) but not his 1st
I don't think so either. But if those things don't happen, we're ed.
Leuer to the Bucks per DX
Steven Jackson was traded? Why couldn't the Spurs get him...
Chad Ford was reporting the Spurs really love James Anderson, so Hill becomes redundant if so.
Small buyout for Lorbek this year, but he's a second rounder so no cap on contract, we could make that work.
His contract ends next year. Just boils down to how bad he wants to be here this year. I'm guessing the Spurs have already talked to him and know his feelings on the matter.
Not necessarily.
An Anderson/Leonard wing combo will end up being a more talented defensive wing combo than Neal/Hill was last year. Which was a huge weak spot on the team and has been the past few years (Mason,Finley, Udoka ect.). Hill was better than Finley, Mason, Udoka but that's not saying much and at the same time his size hurt him a lot in money time on the defensive end.
This view on the move is certainly realistic, especially from a defensive perspective. And if you're worried about shooting, Anderson is a very good shooter and Spurs still have Neal in their arsenal as well. Those two can easily replace Hill's offensive production. Therefore, I don't see how this sets back the team into mediocrity. Now if they traded Parker for that crap pile of trade to the Kings then I'd agree with you.
This move could improve the Spurs in many areas. Only time will tell.
They will be looking to move one or two of those guys anyway.
stephen Jackson used to play for the Spurs - no need to backtrack for an old SF...we already have one of those
I agree. Who did Hill develop with the Spurs?
Who did he develop at Fordham while running that program into the ground? Smush Parker?
jon leuer to bucks....i hope we get benson with the 42nd
Leuer could have helped us get rid of Bonner.
Well, they shouldn't be a lottery team next year but they clearly haven improved next year's team by losing Hill and adding a couple of 19 years old rookies.
