Has anyone tried pesto lasagne? I was flipping through channels and there was this really annoying chick whose show I hadn't seen on Food Network. I didn't care for the show, but the pesto lasagne she made looked absolutely delicious. Next time I see fresh basil that doesn't look half-dead, I am going to pick some up and try this recipe:

Well done Dex!! That looks simply awesome!!
The Spurstalk forum lasagna throwdown!!
Green lasagna? No thanks.
Aida on the other hand....
Pesto lasagna is quite yummy, but that recipe looks a little boring. Needs some chicken or prosciutto or... something else.
Incidentally, if fresh basil is hard to find in your area, pesto can be frozen for a long time. My great-grandmother used to make tons of pesto with the fresh basil from the garden every year, freeze it in ice cube trays, and then keep ziploc bags full of pesto cubes for months and months. That way, even if basil was out of season, you could have homemade pesto all year by just popping a cube or two into a bowl of hot pasta to melt. Some recipes call for cream in the pesto, which I don't like and would probably affect its lifespan, but if you stick to basil/parmesan/olive oil/pine nuts/salt it can keep for a really long time.
Aida is hot!!
I smell a trade ...
What is that?
Ok not what I had in mind ...

What can I say, I'm a sucker for a girl who can cook.
You still want my enchiladas?
I do still have some leftover lasagna.
MMmmmm
I had breakfast already but I'm open for a lunch ...
Unfortunately I'm stuck at work (working hard, can you tell?), which means the lasagna is trapped in my fridge until this evening!
You can come to get it later, tho.
You're working about as hard as I am it seems ...
I just happen to be open for dinner as well.
Sounds like we could probably work somethin' out.
Can ya smell what the Rock is cookin?
