I brought an already cooked lasagna home from work a couple of weeks ago and put it in the freezer. Now I'm hungry.

Do I need to thaw it before reheating in the oven or is there a way to skip that step? Any advice on how long and what temperature to cook it in the oven?

    Thanks in advance.

I put foil on it and put it in the oven at 350 for 35 minutes. Planning to take the foil off and cook an additional 10-15 minutes after that. If my plan is going to result in a bad lasagna please let me know ASAP or my dinner will be ruined.

    God bless.

When you take the foil off, you may want to put a couple of drops of water on the top of it so it doesn't dry out, unless you want it to. The 350 sounds like a good temp, putting it in frozen is fine, but it's going to take a while to get hot all the way through.

Not yet, but I don't buy those commercials with them tricking Italians into eating it, then they all have a great big laugh about it.

From the Italian families I've known, you mess with their fo0d, you're gonna have the mob on your trail and a boot up your ass.

if they can fool actual Italians like in the TV ad like that, then it must be darn good lasagna.

Yea, real lame ass commercials. Like a real Italian is going to have that type of reaction?

Exactly. If a real Italian person in Italy has even HEARD of Pizza Hut, then I wouldn't expect them to be very pleasant about eating it.

Speaking of lasagna, I watched a show about making it last night on Food Network, and now I think I'm gonna make it for dinner this evening.

I just didn't really know where else a factoid like that would belong.

My lasagna would kick Bobby Flay's's's's ass.

I use ricotta, mozzarella, parmesan, and a cottage cheese/mozarella blend.

Along with ground beef, Italian sausage, and pepperoni.

    The definition of yum.
