He's about ten games too late for that.
Ten Games too late for the Regular season Half

But If we will be the Champios, there are 50 Games left, so we are in The Half

You people want to cheer for Malone, go ahead. You want to play sheep and say "Pop thinks its right, and that's good enough for me" then go ahead. But don't go around acting like these Spurs need Malone. This team is on track for the best record ever by a Spurs team and is an easy favorite to go all the way. The only people who really believe that the Spurs need Malone are the idiots who are never happy with the Spurs no matter what they accomplish and still have the gall to call themselves fans. Give us all a break.

There is no official announcement from the Spurs or from Malone, and Bolerjack warned that Malone may change his mind, as he is prone to do. Bolerjack said he has not personally talked to Malone.

"He's an emotional man, he's going through what most athletes go through at the time of retirement, and that's making up his mind whether he can continue to play," Bolerjack said.
So in other words we still don't know.

Spare us the drama Karl.......WE DON'T NEED YOU!

I'm with you boutons. If he really wanted to contribute, he would have done it months ago. The only solace is that his ass will be gone as soon as the playoffs are over.

Of course he will wear #11, what else?

Spurs had to make this move. Phoenix made a couple of good acquisitions, Miami is making waves, the Spurs could not stand pat, they were not that far ahead of the top teams to be treading water....

This puts SA back on top.

If we Lost TD again for a Couple of Gmes, we need Malone

    We now have

The Starting 5: TP, MG, BB, TD and Rasho

    The Only Bench is:
Udrih, Barry, Brown, Horry and Rose

Marks, Massenburg, Wilks and Co, are in The Doghouse, they donīt play several minutes in the Playoffs

If we lost Duncan or Rasho or if we are in Foul Troubbles, Malone is Extremely necessary

This move makes our bench so deep it's ridiculous.

Essentially, it's Karl Malone for Mike Wilks.

    You wouldn't make that trade?

We are talking about basketball, aren't we?

It has nothing to do with playing sheep. It has everything to do with me being smart enough to know that signing Malone will make us a lock for Western Concference Champions. Something I was having serious doubts about before.

Basketball isn't just played on paper though.

    Malone brings Malone's persona.

Yeah we are talking about a 41 year old coming off of a major knee injury and he hasn't played in a NBA game since last June.

    Malone brings Malone's persona.
    Exactly.

What do the Spurs need more than an enforcer who rebounds, defends his teammates (and the paint) violently, throws 'bows, hacks away (with no trouble from the officials), and looks you dead in the eye and dares you to with him?

    That's the Malone persona.

    Bring it on.

Also, consider this: Haters may call him a playoff choker, but how many times have the Spurs beat Malone in the post-season? Do you really want him signing with Miami, or anyone else for that matter?
