oh and I'm glad we hijacked this thread. Sorry juggs.
Are you saying I might be your mom ?!?!
My mom had a '93 (I think) Corsica.
It was totaled. While parked. By an 90-something-year-old man in an Oldsmobile who reversed when he thought he was in drive. Apparently he pushed the Corsica all the way across the street and into someone else's yard before he realized he was in reverse. My mom watched it all from the front window of her house.
I wish I'd have been there to see it.
She was probably like this .....![]()
Just sayin'
I have been searching for her
I believe she was grading papers at the time.
She was nowhere near that calm, however.
Mijo !! Its me !! I'm been keeping an eye on you all this time. Also stop calling me !
You mean you were there when I hit my first homerun? You were there when my first girlfriend broke my heart? You were there when I got caught beating off at the movi......Uh you can ignore that last one. MOMMY!
My corvette got crunched BAD sitting in my driveway. I rented a room in my house to a guy I worked with. He invited a buddy over one night. I was in bed with a friend and they were out in the living room drinking all the beer I had in the refrigerator. His drunk buddy was backing out of the driveway later and turned the front wheels about 20' too soon and ripped off the right/rear side and right back corner of my Vette. I could hear the fiberglass shattering in my bedroom...what a mess...it had a custom pearl white paint job and it cost a fortune to get fixed. The guy was so pissed that I made him pay for it that he paid me in loose quarters.
Loose quarters?! Like a dump truck full?
That was back when paint jobs where 8 bucks and haircuts where a cent.
I see. The olden days.
Si mijo its me. I wasn't there for that homerun because I was drunk at the bar but I was there when that pendeja broke your Corazón. I was there with Ramon and we laughed so hard I farted
LOL. like 8000 of them. Fortunately they were at least in bags.
I thought I smelled something ty. I just thought that's what a broken heart smelled like.
Sorry to hear about your car problems, Ash.
I hope everything is resolved completely without it taking long or costing you a lot.
When I was in college, I dated a guy from Houston whose dad collected Corvettes. Over one summer he lent us 2 to use during summer school. They were from the 70's and I have no clue what the models were, except that one was a red T-top, and the other was a silver convertible. Drove them for almost 4 months, and I'm sorry guys, but except for the attention getting factor, there really wasn't much to that whole experience! I must have missed something.
The experience comes from having a passion and love for cars to begin with. Its not something that usually comes after driving them. Although for some thats where it all begins. I loved these cars before I even turned 10 let alone drove.
whatever. It's getting worse by the minute too. Since I didn't hear the noise/rattling in the car for a while while I was driving last night the engine may be damaged too. mother er.![]()

'Spose, then, that the lesson is not to ignore indicator lights.
No ing way you're getting the insurance company to cover that.
