How am I supposed to name the shots? You think I have a catalog of all of Tony's missed shots that I keep for such an occasion? What I find funny is that I merely comment that I don't like the trend of him taking the most shots on team (those 0 assists in the second half were helpful) and I get pounced on like I just spoke ill of jesus christ. As I said, I don't blame him for the loss. But I do question his shot selection at certain times in certain games.

But he's not perfect and he does take stupid shots (as do all of the Spurs). Yeah, Parker only makes that shot about 70% of the time. He should have pulled the ball back out and reset and looked for a better shot. Who cares about being down multiple possessions with under a minute to go?

Most of the time when he dribbles around and doesn't pass to anyone, that's when Pop has called an iso for him. Anyway, of course, he puts up bad shots sometimes - he's not perfect. But he shouldn't always be the scapegoat for every loss. Especially when 3-point shooters aren't getting open and when he's doing what he's instructed by his coach (i.e. get a quick layup, shoot ~20 times a game, etc).
My mistake for wanting a better shot than a running tear drop when he was outnumbered.

Not Duncan, who was MIA for about 70% of the game, or Ginobili, who had a team worst plus/minus and was obviously hurting more than helping. Parker takes the blame.

I, too, sometimes question Tony's shot selection. Not just at the end of games, but throughout the game. More often than not, he'll make the right play...but it's frustrating when he doesn't, because we know he's capable of better.

That's a good question. With as much as Duncan was rolling in the first, that might have gotten him out of rhythm. He usually doesn't sit for eight minutes in a row ... especially when not in foul trouble.
