Matt Bonner needs to shoot on the road and be consitently active on the boards and he's alright with me. His defense has improved a bit as the series has progressed.

I can't figure out for the life of me why Bonner got so many minutes tonight? Where was Gooden?????
Nobody can figure this out.![]()
hes beyond the point of no return. bonner = liability...we must offload him at all costs
Gooden was fouling like crazy and playing every bit as bad defensively.
Matt Bonner, if you are any kind of a man then go tell Mr. Holt you would like to reimburse the Spurs for at least 41 games. Also get Vaughn, Oberto, Mason, Udoka, and Finley to do the same. Tim and Tony have given their all. KT gave it the old college try so I don't fault him but, he needs to retire. Bowen, Hill and Gooden were left on the bench way too much so they can keep their take. Pop should give his whole annual salary back for the lousey job he did this year.
Now Peter Holt, with all this money go get us about 8 young, talented, long, talll, quick, fast, smart and athletic players for next season so we can get one more championship while Tim is still here.
FUKK FUKKIN MATT BONNER, period end of story.
Maybe they are closet lovers.
Again bonner. He ing sucks. He's the worst player to ever played on the spurs.
yep him-seriously get rid of everyone besides td,tp,ginobili, and hill, maybe gooden. EOS
Lookup Tony Massenburg.
WTF are you seriously knocking Massenberg?
He was awesome in 2005. He provided so much toughness off that bench. When someone got out of line you send out Tony and he would foul hard.
I recall when we had games we were up by double digits and he's hammer someone when the drove the lane and Tim would have to go up and tell him to settle down cause we're up 20.
He was actually pretty good too in his limited minutes. I heard the had an accident in the off season and that is the reason he didn't come back. I would have loved to have had him back.
Let us know when that happens...
Cuz, it's YET to happen..
That piece of will be traded by this summer..
I remember my dad would heckel him during timeouts when we were at a Nets game while he played for them and I think Tony could hear him (the arena was mighty empty like it is now back in those days when Kendal Gill was an All-Star) because when the coaching staff would be discussing plays by the bench Tony would be looking around in an angrily perplexed manner. Those were the days.
If true, I hope he's recovering from the accident okay, basketball or not. We'll always have a spot and some minutes for him if he wants to come out of retirement.
The Massenburg story is funny.![]()
