I think he's around til Manu is healthy. Might take another 10-day.

How does Devin remind you of Scottie, mookie?

he's a small forward who can go anywhere on the court with ease
not lightning quick but strong and can score from around the rim in everyway
he also has a pretty sweet j
Probable good side effect equal more minutes for Beno = good things happen when that kid plays!
Sorry for not reading the entire thread, but I think that the Glover signing is just a goodwill show from the Spurs.
Actually, having skimmed over http://www.diongloverfoundation.org/ , I'd say David Robinson had a heavy hand in this decision.
I hope he catches lightening in a bottle during his stay with the Spurs and latches on somewhere with a nice gig.
Well, he already knows to pass it to Duncan. Not in bad shape.
Nice block on Hart after getting cleared out.
Looks like Glover will be here for more than 10 days.
Well right now he's Devin Brown without the jumper.
We could do worse.
What's not to like?
He's definitely in shape.
Not too bad.
I would give him some minutes in the early part of the second quarter vs Detroit.
His defense wasn't bad either.
Looks like a Spur. Intelligent, unselfish, solid defender. Haven't seen him miss a FT yet though.
Haven't seen him miss a FT yet though. He will come around.
Mid range J, might be good, but the three point accuracy, is a little off.
Not too bad, like I said, Id like to see him get some PT in the early parts of the second quarter.
He can guard PG pretty well though.
Although, supposedly, Jason Hart does not have NBA athletic ability right Timvp??![]()
I'm so on the G-Lover bandwagonHe's agressive, he hustles, and he's decent!
Ok, Glover gets a plus. Pretty good for coming in yesterday.
I definetly liked what I saw.
They didn't bring him in to be a shooter. They brought him in the bring some energy, especially on D and to scrap. He's going to be fine in spot minutes. His rebounding and D were nice tonight.
How often does a new player get a full quarter? Pop must really be high on him and he was fairly impressive. CIA strikes again!
When you're up 20 on an expansion team....How often does a new player get a full quarter?
He did well, kind of a breath of fresh air for the swingmen slogging through a long season.
He did a pretty good job. I think he should stick around for a little more than 10 days. He was really hustling. Nice to see!
"new player get a full quarter"
Lucky break for Dion. Pop has to find out fast about Dion and Nazr, and what better opportunity than a game of bottom-dweller@SBC? I think their PT had nothing to do with anything except Pop's lack of time to evaluate/decide.
And looking ahead 10-days for games that would present similar opps:
Sun 20 @ Detroit
Mon 21 @ New York << maybe an early blowout
Wed 23 @ Indiana
Fri 25 Atlanta << clear opportunity
Sun 27 Houston
Wed 30 Seattle
