Clearly you're NOT listening to Iverson's comments and you haven't followed his career. Out of his own mouth, he declared that he'd rather retire than come off the bench because it's something he's not used to.
He's never played with superstar-caliber teammates, and simply refuses the "share the rock" with anyone. He WILL NOT adjust his game or style of play for ANYBODY.
He's still a great player and a point machine, that can score with anybody. However he's a volume shooter, who restricts any offensive flow because he's too busy trying to get himself off. He's a ball-hogging, team killer, who does not know what it takes to win at a championship level.
You're dreaming if you think he could play alongside Duncan, Parker, Manu or any other superstar-level player for that matter.
