Cav's just getting reffed the way they are supposed to be reffed. Nothing suprising here. Orlando still owns home court advantage cause they stole a game from the Mistake by the Lake.

Actually there were several Spur fans who literally said they would have to stop rooting for the Cavs after how bad the officiating was at one point.

I would say the momentum shifting calls all went the Cavs way. A block that should have been a charge while the Magic were trying to mount a comeback. A technical foul that should have been called that led to a Mo Williams 3. Plays like that occured all throughout the game.
And you wonder how people can hate the Lakers.

It's not just Laker fans who were calling out the officiating in Game 2. It was Spur fans as well. Check the game thread.
Take your own advice there and learn to read a little bit better.

You gotta love how much vitriol flows from Lakers fans when they see the one player touted to be better than Kobe wins a close playoff game.

YEP! THE GAME WAS FIXED! That's why with less than a minute left and the game seemingly hanging in the balance, they whistled LeBron for a travel. Because they want the Cavs to win and will do anything to make that happen.

How easy would it have been for the official to swallow his whistle? Traveling calls are missed all the time in the NBA, and it would have just been passed off. Instead, they gave Orlando the ball.

    Let's review:

The best defensive team in the league has played two home games against the premiere jumpshooting/3 point team in the league.

The Cavs have pushed out to huge leads in both games. They lost one game in which they shot THREE more freethrows and won a game in which they shot ONE more. They have shot 4 more freethrows in 2 home games than the Magic.

But no, you're right. The officials are completely biased.

I just hope someday you are on the receiving end of what it's like to be when the fix really IS in against your team, when the other team shoots 20+ more freethrows than your team. It shows just how pampered Lakers fans are that they think a game like last night was "horrible officiating".

No. Horrible officiating would have meant the Cavs shooting 35+ free throws last night and winning by 25.

@ Lakers fans. EVERYTHING is about you. The ECF isn't about Cavs vs. Magic, it's about proving how "fairly" Lakers playoff games have been officiated, which, for the record, is NOT just a "Laker hate" phenomenon. JJ Adande even stated that he worried about G7 of the Lakers-Rockets being fixed by officiating. You have to be the most insecure fanbase in all of sports. You guys make Yankee fans look positively philanthropic.
Excellent post CryHavoc. Laker fans love to ignore 2002 WCF vs the Kings, 0.4, and the no-call with Fisher and Barry. Every Laker fan thinks there is no conspiracy....DUH, because everything favors your team.

I agree about Laker fans being insecure, especially in regards to the Cavs....why do you think House is all over the Mo Williams/D12 thing? If that was Kobe throwing the ball at Melo he would find a way to say that not calling a technical would be the correct call.

There just aren't many real basketball fans on this forum. A real basketball fan would simply appreciate the first two games of this series for what they were (and the first two games of the WCF as well.)

, I have a dog in this hunt and I can still appreciate the way Orlando is playing in this series. They have a lot of talent and character a lot of us underestimated.

But Instead of appreciation, we get " the Cavaliers" " LeBron" "The game was fixed" "I hope LeBron gets injured" blah blah blah.

It's sad, really. I feel sorry for a lot of you. You're privileged to witness playoff basketball at the highest level and you're too blinded by hatred and bitterness to enjoy it.

    Oh well.

I guess we'll have to agree to disagree.

I'll acknowledge that the refs finally started to call the game fairly in the final 5 minutes, but just about everything up until that point was what I would consider poor officiating that negatively effected the Magic more than the Cavs. But it makes no sense to belabor this anymore, you're not looking at the videos I'm posting and you're not refuting any of the plays I have called out that were questionable. You're just attacking me because of what happened in 2002 which has nothing to do with this.

At the end of the day the Magic have proven that they are simply a better team than the Cavs. They play as a team and win as a team. The Cavs are just a glorified one man show and the Magic defense has made all of LBJ's role players look rather ordinary.

    Magic in 6.

Everybody needs to stop complaining about the refs cuz they aint gonna change. A couple blatant fouls were called giving Cle momentum but what are you gonna do? Just give props to Orl for coming back from 23 down on the road & almost winning the game if it werent for Lebrons amazing shot. I was hoping this series would go 6 or 7 games & now we know it will.

Now the Cavs dilemma is find a way to slow down so many Orlando options, especially down the stretch...Think about it...In this series, the Cavs have led for 84 of the 96 total minutes..(that's 87 percent of the time) and most of that time, they've enjoyed double-digit leads....but the Magic are hitting 4th quarter clutch shots with stunning regularity to the tune of 68 percent in the 24:00 of 4th quarter basketball.

This is so true. There are only a handful of knowledgeable posters on this board. The rest only know how to talk about conspiracy theories.
