and guess what? The Spurs Failed to beat us even once this decade at full strength.
uh 50%?
Yeah, it would've been a sweep for us then dumbass
Ack. You know what? You're right. I'll amend my post to a top three record in the West.
and guess what? The Spurs Failed to beat us even once this decade at full strength.

It doesn't even take a good defensive team to the mavs in the ass by 30+. They can do it against an 8th seed team of midgets in the first round.Lakers have a very average defense, but thankfully our offense and Kobe is good enough to keep the ball going through the hoop, making it hard to beat us. But when we face a truly good defensive team, we get ed in the ass with 30+ point losses in the Finals.
Mavs and Mavs fans wouldn't know good defense if it hit them in the face with a larry o'brien trophy. Which it never will.
Guess what again. I didnt say the Spurs have the Mavs number. I said the Mavs dont have their's. No one has an advantage, contrary to your belief.
ok LakerFan, as soon as you get your ring let me know, mmk?
Its one reason why im happy we got Artest.
Ariza is an overrated defender, he's only good in steals, last year the lakers needed a lock down defender like Artest. Lakers defense was very overrated but that could change this year and i believe it will.
Also Bynum sucks ass on the defensive end too, all he does is foul.
Neat. A team that relies on jumpshots and 3s, and another team that has possibly the worst BBIQ in the NBA. Very impressive.
Ooooh, you sure made a good point there. That has everything to do with the discussion at hand, in regards to the fact that the Lakers do not have a good defense.
Being a Mavs fan has nothing to do with basketball knowledge. You obviously are new here, and have a lot to learn about Spurstalk, but that "your a mav fan so u dont know wht defense means! LOL!!!" doesnt fly around here, stick. Step your game up, or kindly go yourself with your father's herpes infested penis.
How exactly would you know whether the fans get rings or not? Maybe we do, maybe we don't...but you have about as much clue of that as if there's life on Mars, dont you.
For all you know I could be wearing mine right now.![]()
what
the
?
time for someone to break out the epic fail troll
You said our D was average. Clearly it is not. They scored bunches of points on other teams with the same reliance on jumpshots and 3's and bad bball IQ, and were held to their lowest ppg against LA. Obviously we were doing better than average on D.
What did your post about last years game 6 loss have to do with the discussion at hand? It was an attack, nothing more, and also irrelevant considering it was last year with different personnel. I thought we were talking about THIS year? Guess only when it jives with your arguments, huh.Ooooh, you sure made a good point there. That has everything to do with the discussion at hand, in regards to the fact that the Lakers do not have a good defense.
Is this how it works here around Spurstalk?Being a Mavs fan has nothing to do with basketball knowledge. You obviously are new here, and have a lot to learn about Spurstalk, but that "your a mav fan so u dont know wht defense means! LOL!!!" doesnt fly around here, stick. Step your game up, or kindly go yourself with your father's herpes infested penis.
haha
I was just responding to your unecessary and irrelevant comment. I didnt start attacking until you did.
well I agree if the security guards get a ring, the fans should too![]()
You're right. It's mediocre.
It had everything to do with it. It was bringing up the fact that when the Lakers face a truly good defensive team, they have problems, because they cant truly stop anyone, therefore their team relies on their offense. It showed when the Celtics stomped their guts out in the Finals. But obviously you're too stupid to figure that out on your own, as you have to have people point it out for you, eh?
1. Your attack was lame
2. As just stated, you were too ignorant to realize the point of bringing up the Lakers loss to the Celtics.
Die.
Phillip, do you always start with other teams fans and then become indignant when they respond in kind? Only until you break out the vulgar string of expletives that is...i'm assuming the indignation ends there and you go straight to rage.
Its like you really dont understand that last years team and this years team weren't the same team. Wow.
"You're right. It's mediocre."
If our D was mediocre, what were the other teams' that Denver and Orlando played?
Wow.1. Your attack was lame
2. As just stated, you were too ignorant to realize the point of bringing up the Lakers loss to the Celtics.
Die.![]()
Stab yourself with a rusty knife. Right through the jugular. Make the world a better place.
Can't agree w/you there. Ariza helped shore up the D on the Lakers bench, even if he only got steals. Lakers lost a lot of length and speed w/Ariza. Artest is not the lock down defender he used to be, not that he's bad though. Ariza was a better fit with Lakers than Artest will be IMO. Not to mention he's a ball chucker and dribbles too much. All in all, Lakers took a step back this offseason.
Differences?
They had Ariza.
Bynum was around and sucked a little less, even though the team is clearly better when Odom and Pau are together, than Bynum.
Vujacic wasn't playing out of his mind, and sucked like he does.
Major differences.
Yeah, you already said that. Quit being a baby and grow a pair.
I could do this and die happy saying I lived to see my team win a championship. Can you?![]()
No, because unlike you, I don't go to bed each night beating off to videos of Kobe and Magic. Try porn instead.
He won't answer that one.
So much anger from you Phillip. Where could you, a mavs fan, possibly have gotten so angry from? It doesn't make any sense.

so you prefer beating off to gay porn?
question.
