Ask Derek Jeter how the ball off the face felt. Next.
because you have a brain the size of a cricket.Come on. I am not buying it.
Ask Derek Jeter how the ball off the face felt. Next.
Cause he was too dumb to get out of the way of a ball that means its harder to play than basketball???
God, it is true.
Brain size = Height.
2-0 as a Spurs' starter.Was it 3 or 4 dunks tonight?

Nazr is going to be key in the playoffs. I think hes going to do great..
In basketball only 5 players play. One or Two play 40 minutes, a few play 30, most play between 10 and 15 and a few never leave the chair.
Now how is this tougher than Football, Baseball and Soccer? or Hockey?
Again . . . baseball?
Are you serious or are you this stupid?
How can you comapre basketball, a sport where you are running 100% of the time you are on the floor, to baseball, a ing passtime, where you swing a bat a couple of times and the most you run is a couple hundred yards.
Even hurling or curling or whatever the that sport the Canadians invented is more demanding than baseball.
Look at some of the baseball players, for chrissake. They are ing fat!
I couldn't find any pictures of fat soccer players but I bet there are some! There's got to be a couple of tubby goalies...
I'd try and get the fatest guy I could find...probably.
whottt, you couldn'y find fat baseball players?
The funny thing is that Manu just dropped 30 points, 7 boards and three steals and Sequ can't stop ing.
Its hopeless.
Definitely...you are right that there are fat baseball players...a lot of pitchers especially...but other sports do have them...Football probably has more fat guys than any other sport...I am not really trying to get into this argument tween you and Segu...
You're still my boy smeagol...
...was just sayin'.....
Aww smeagol, don't get pissed...I think Sequ is a for his Manu hate too....But there are a lot lof fat athletes in most pro sports.
When the Tee-Ball baseball sits higher on the Tee for you than for the other kids, I suppose it could be a little "tougher".
really good games from nazr, but if Spurs will play with Miami, Houston or Phoenix?? Nazr vs. Shaq or Yao i dont know how would be. Defens??
I don't know if it helps but there has been an examination at my university about which sport is the hardest. It was based on different aspects like how much you are running, how hard it is for your joints (I don't know if its the right word für ankle, wrist), muscles, condition... they came to the conclusion that every sport is the hard for a certain part of the body and that you can't really compare sports in general. Football is different to soccer, soccer is different to basketball.
So, there is no hardest sport, just different sport. They also found out that a soccer player doesn't run more than a BB player does. BB is more about changing direction, so its harder for ankles and knees and so on...
So, Sequ, you are probably wrong. Basketball is as hard as every other sport, just in a different way.
Back to the topic I have been shouting for weeks to give him a chance, one does not go from a 12 and 8 guy to nothing sitting on a Spurs bench.
Ok, I know this is wrong to do, but....
Football: Short bursts of extreme energy. Can take a toll on body do to impact injuries.
Basketball: Constant movement with sporadic bursts of energy, sometimes extreme. Injuries can occur do to jumping and planting of feet and legs. Not much contact.
Baseball: Little movement, except for sporadic bursts of energy. Frequency depends upon position. Right fielder to pitcher is order from least energy to most that will likely be expended by a player. Injury to ball strikes in at bat situations is possible, and although may be severe, is not regularly occuring.
Soccer: Constant running movement, in all cases except for goalie. Goalie may have extreme bursts of energy, or quick constant movement for brief periods of time. Forwards/sweepers will expend most amount of energy as the travel the farthest distances up and down the field of play. Injuries common to running and jumping common. Also accidental and sometimes intentional collisions between players may happen. (Soccer can be more dangerous to the fans!)
Hockey: Constant movement for all players except goalie. Extreme bursts of energy expended regularly. Injuries from impacts often occur. Player to player body hits. Stick to player hits. Player to player and wall hits. Puck to player hits. Players fighting.
I've played every sport I just listed except hockey. I'd say football has the most regular risk of getting injured seriously, while hockey leads to more injuries overall.
In order of endurence (High to low):
Basketball
Hockey
Soccer
Football
Baseball
In order of injury risk (high to low):
Football
Hockey
Soccer
Basketball
Baseball
Sequ, what member on the Spurs plays with the intensity and passion without regard to his body for every second he is on the floor?
What Spur always runs full speed back with an opponent on a fast break even though he knows the guy has no chance of being run down from behind?
Manu is that guy.
If every Spur played the way he does, they would all miss 14 games a year because they would all be injured or exhausted.
How can you not know this????
Before these past two games I was ready to leave Nazr off the Playoff Roster
But was I wrong!!!
Go Nazr!!!
I too admit I was a Nazr doubter.. I guess the jury is pretty much in now at least on my part. He did great last night! I also thought he should have stayed off the playoff roster, but after last night NO ING WAY WILL HE BE LEFT OFF. His rebounding is awesome. I'm wondering though, do you think Rasho will be coming back sooner, or later than first thought? I'm guessing LATER...![]()
I have no problem for people getting on Nazr or Barry for crappy games, I do that and I think it is acceptable. What is dumb is when people jump all over these guys and claim they are horrible players and need to be cut or traded. Get a clue and realistic expectations. Also learn how the game of basketball works! Not everyone scores 25 points or grabs 10 rebounds on a daily basis. Actually only a few do either and they are the top 1 or 2 players on the team. Neither Nazr or Barry are. Could they both be more consistent productive players, yes. Do I expect either to be starters when everyone is healthy, no.
I did not get to see last nights game but during the highlights when Manu Tipped in a basket you can see Nazr in the background throwing somebody off and he(trailblazer) landed on the floor
What happened?
