Drinking, Tequila.
i agree 1000%
reading alot of stsa...and hoping the spurs dont draft gordon hayward.
this was the saddest elimination from all in the Duncan era because this series show how we not anymore what we have been in the past, this series show that Duncan is near the end, and it's sad to see team that we were dominate sweep us with us helpless.
this wasn't at all the hardest or painful elimination, we had much more but this was the saddest!

i am not content and when the fans become content...there is no pressure on management to spend money and look for talent every year. This is exactly why the spurs are out of the playoffs...Manu getting his extension was pressure on management to keep manu....remember "no Manu no Renew". The lakers are in it every year because the fans boooo if the team sucks....so they go out every year to get the best.
Again, where can you buy DVD's of the championship runs?
Trying not to think about it too much.
But wait...this is not a good coping skill. So I try to think about how fortunate we are to have a great team with 4 championship to root for, and lucky I am to live in a peaceful place, where I have work and raise a family, and still get time to surf the internet and make acquaintance in this wonderful forum.
Not a whole lot. I haven't watched the playoffs as much as I usually do (even the Spurs), it's been a very busy time for me.
But this time of year is always bittersweet for me. Of course I want to see them win it all, but at the same time I can stop stressing over it.
Tried to stay away from anything to do with basketball and the NBA. Kept busy with work, house-work and my baby son. When on the comp how-ever i keep coming back to this site so obviously it's not working .
Well, for one, I took my cheap print out of the big 3 + RJ off the wall.
Right now I'm focusing on getting my first year of college done and thank god I'm doing well. Otherwise my luck would suck. Enjoying my last summer in my hometown before I move to Portland in the fall.
I'm gonna go on Spurstalk less unless if there's awesome news.
I'm gonna watch the Spurs 99, 03, 05, 07 dvds and appreciate the role players this team had and how I'm better off as a Spurs fan that fans of other teams.
I'm gonna watch the rest of the playoffs and root for anyone except Lakers and Cavs. I may vomit watching the Celtics however because of Michael Finley coattailing them.
Start watching some Splitter highlights so I can be as excited as everyone when he signs here or as infuriated as everyone when he teases the Spurs.
It's gonna be different watching highlights of spurs beating the suns because I truly know the Suns are our new Mavericks now but much more classier.
Man I wish I could have the days from June 23 (the RJ trade) to the start of the regular season back and not rush through it for a disappointing season.
I cant believe it's the offseason again. I was hoping that I would feel better about this offseason compared to the 09 offseason because the first round exit to the Mavs made the front office be aggressive. Now I dont think they can pull off any great moves other than bring in Splitter so I expect the same group to be here next year except Mason.

i don't mean to sound like a prick or anything, but basektball isn't anything you should have to "get over." the Spurs lost. it doesn't change my life one bit. i'll keep watching the NBA and chearing for the Suns.
On May 31, I will watch my Memorial Day Miracle Game on DVD as I do every year, and Watch a few of my old games.
Sweeps don't bother me....because one My Cubs suck especially in the playoffs....two....I have seen the Spurs lose alot back in the arena dayz....
....so if you guys want to jump off the cliff be my guest.....
Well, the sweep was a surprise and a little disappointing, but I really got over it so fast
Thank god I couldnt watch the final game, it would be a different story otherwise
Anyway I got 4 wins against the Mavs this year already scheduled to be watched quite a few times until I get really busy
The Suns were simply a better team. No use getting depressed in that. I was happy though, that in the final moments, there was no crowd jeering or booing our Spurs. They were cheering for the very end. The class of our team and the fans is at top of the NBA.
As for the offseason, I do what I always do. College, basketball, etc..
Yep, I can't wait.
Work, and try my best to come back here and remind myself of the pain.
But it's so hard not to visit Spurstalk as my daily ritual.
Already over it. Initially I felt that this team would get past the Suns but after each half I started getting that sinking feeling in my gut that they just didn't have it. It was the realization that this year we didn't have the bench needed to go deep.
So I will anticipate the upcoming draft as well as the WC.
Life will go on.
I'll be writing about the Spurs season now to exorcise all the demons from this season. Oddly enough, it hasn't hit me bad yet. Maybe because there are other more important things in my life right now than feeling sad for millionaires who lost four straight ball games.
But I'm sure, at odd moments, I'll remember the sweep and fill a little pissed. Like maybe when the Lakers and Cavs meet in the Finals.![]()
That too...how could I forget?![]()
Quite simply I am just looking forward to the offseason and ignoring the NBA playoffs.
Sweeping everyone on NBA2K10! es!
