Is the draft order selected the day of the draft or before?

I'd like to set the draft order before the draft, precisely so trades can be worked out in advance. The draft software may not handle trading picks, but as long as it's announced before hand, we can handle it.

I was reading the league rules and noted there was no missed field goal point designations. There might have been other points missing too. Is there a verdict on the missed fg's? I lobbied for higher reprocussions, did anybody think this was a possibility for our rules? (My suggestions were in the 2nd or 3rd page.)

Currently, rules are set to defaults. If we can get everybody together for a chat, we can hammer out the details. Personally, it does not matter to me on this one.

Hey guys, I just wanted to introduce myself as a new member of this league - looking forward to getting revenge for the entire state of Michigan

My name is Jeff Davis, I'm 28. I teach high school math in Ann Arbor, and coach golf and basketball. I'll post more later about my thoughts on rules, etc. Just wanted to say hi.

There's 3 or 4 people considering joining. So I don't think we'll end up shorter than 12.

But we won't be drafting or anything until everyone pays up (or makes some kind of arrangement to do so). I'm not going to get stuck chasing people for money.

I was given apprx 60% of what I should've gotten & was told I can try & collect the rest myself.

I concur with your rule.
No DRAFTING til pymnt made.

Welcome aboard Jeff. Just so you know, we have another user registered who is also a Piston fan, known as FearDaFro. Some people may confuse you two, but that is no big deal since he gets along with everyone here, more or less.

I've been busy today, but as mentioned yesterday, I intend to smooth out the league rules into a working do ent and distribute them to everyone. Afterwards, we can all hash out any disagreements so that we have a majority rule (a strong majority I hope).

Feel free to swing by the Spurs forum too. Although there is an NBA forum here, we tend to talk about non-Spur topics too in the Spurs forum. Lots of knowlegable basketball people there, a few assholes, and a few smart-asses such as myself.

This is correct, I apologize for not posting that along with my comments.

My problem was NOT with this league.
