So Nash to Amare = Spursdaone .... any other aliases?
see Jordan, Michael and West, Jerry.Greatest moment in nba history. I have never seen such a clutch shot like that.
So Nash to Amare = Spursdaone .... any other aliases?
It all equals Mouse.
The truth hurts. Miami is now better than San Antonio.
Why because you say so?The truth hurts. Miami is now better than San Antonio.
Looks like to me everyone is still 0-0. Besides until playoff time, none of these moves anyone makes means .
I'm going to be real, I cried when fisher's shot went through. When Tim's shot went in I was like "okay, we deserve to win", but I was wrong.
What eases the pain (and basically takes it away) is the fact that the Lakers organization basically imploded and the Spurs won a championship.
I had completely forgotten about .4 until I saw the championship video.
So yes and no.
the truth is Miami isn't until the regular season starts.
You better hope that Wade or Shaq get injured because I don't see the spurs stopping either player or even doing a decent job. The spurs no longer have Robinson that can slow Shaq down and they don't have a young Bowen which equals Wade domination. Combine that with Posey's tenacious defense and Williams point guard skills equals championship.
no it doesn't still piss me off. My whole life, I've only been a fan of two teams--the Houston Oilers and the San Antonio Spurs. Throughout my adolescence and well into adulthood, both teams found new and inventive ways to teach me to never count on any victory until the game was over.
Thankfully, the Oilers were put to death.
On the other hand, the Spurs have brought us all a lot of joy since 99. I've learned to take the losses when they come and however they come--the three les have more than made up for them. 20+ years of futility will give you some perspective.
Dude, are you serious?!?!Oh no, Bruce is a year older, guess what? Shaq is too! Jason Williams and championship should never been in the same sentence.
You better hope the Joe Johnson deal falls through otherwise Phx is going to have a hard time getting to the WCF.You better hope that Wade or Shaq get injured because I don't see the spurs stopping either player or even doing a decent job. The spurs no longer have Robinson that can slow Shaq down and they don't have a young Bowen which equals Wade domination. Combine that with Posey's tenacious defense and Williams point guard skills equals championship
Centers last a long time. Look at Kareem Abul Jabbar. Guards rely more on speed than big men and that is why age will effect Bowen more than Shaq.
Yeah....age isn't affecting Shaq any.![]()
He is like one of those C-5's that used to be at Kelly AFB.....so big that they break under their own weight just standing there.
Shaq relies on power and he will always have that. He might not be able to play alot of minutes like he used to but he still is effective. He was having a great year last year until the injury right at the start of the playoffs that was bad timing. People were even considering him a MVP candidate before that injury which was bad luck.
I already know that the Suns won't win the championship. You don't have to convince me of that.
hence the problem right there. When do you play him then.....at the end when the game is out of reach...or at the beginning then the other team comes back.He might not be able to play alot of minutes like he used to
so you are going to ignore your team and pimp the Heat? or is it just that you are anti-Spur?I already know that the Suns won't win the championship. You don't have to convince me of that.
If Mourning comes back you get 48 minutes of solid center work. Shaq won't be needed to play heavy minutes.
It is called the truth. Heat>Spurs. Heat>Suns and the Spurs>Suns. I'll admit that about the suns but you should admit that the heat are better.
its the truth because you say it is? What if I don't think the Heat are better? I should lie?
The Heat have not proven they are better.
Why would Nash to Amare = Spursdaone hurts? And what does that have to do with Miami is now better than San Antonio? Just a bunch of random quotes you have.
It doesn't bother me that much anymore because when you think about it, Payton and Malone will probably never have a championship and it is highly probable that Shaq or Kobe will never have another one as well. Shaq is at the end of the road. I doubt he gets through this year injury-free and Kobe is too busy sabotaging his team and committing crimes to focus on winning. The facts remain simple, Kobe and Shaq needed each other, because neither of them has proven that they can win it all without the other. At least Tim has proven to all his critics that he can win one without David. To me, Tim has proved more then Kobe and Shaq ever will.
i wanted teh spurs to win that game. once duncan hit that crazy shot i thought it was over. then it happened. i was stunned. couldnt believe what i just saw. but that worked out the best for me.
You know what is really funny about the Suns fans? They are such bad losers. They still can't except the fact that they were schooled during the playoffs. The thing that should worry everybody in the league is that the Spurs can play any style you play and play it better. Miami can't do that. Detroit can't do that. Phoenix sure as can't do that. All those teams are still one-dimensional. The Spurs are the most versatile team in the league and adapt better to changing game situations then any team. That is what really makes the difference when a championship is on the line. Phoenix fans need to understand that they will never win a championship until they start accepting that they actually need to learn how to play like a team and maybe try to do more than one thing. Phoenix is sadly predictable. You stop the ball, you stop the break, and you win the game. The funny thing is that Suns fans actually believe Kurt Thomas is actually going to make a difference?I imagine that Tim is the happiest he ever has been in a long time now that he has a scrub like Thomas to practice on during games. Thanks for the help Phoenix!
