i know, i was just informing Jim
You can chip the engine for more horsepower. My husband chipped his A4 and TT.
Anyway, if you want to know more about the A4, ask Sequ. He just got a new one.

I don't even fit in most of the cars you guys are talking about...
Danyo, if you have the new car bug, more power to ya. Go with the G35.
What about the new Mustang? This is the first time I've liked them.
Even with Jim's bad influence(thanks Jim), I'm still kinda swaying to the G35. Black with Black interior would be my choice, I know, I know, hot, but I'll deal with it.
My family is a Bowtie family, I'd be shot if I stepped out of a Ford. But I agree, they're way better than in previous years!![]()
Oh ... Jim and I drive almost the same car. I have the last year I30t before they switched to the new 3.5 liter engine. It was the last year Infiniti had a touring version - I wound up with a stiffer suspension, bigger tires, slightly different gear ratio, etc. The I35 was actually out when I bout mine, but after driving them both, I liked the I30t a little better.and traded it in for my Infiniti. My I35 Infiniti blew it away in handling and acceleration.
But that new 3.5 V6 you have in yours is sweet, Jim. No doubt about it. Same basic engine in the G35, M35, and a bunch of Nissans too, just tuned differently as appropriate for the model. I love it in the 2005 G35. They finally refined the interior so it doesn't look so much like something out of 2001: A Space Odyssey. And that car is so ing fun to drive...
I'd actual;ly consider one of those and I hate ford with a passion.
BTW- i read somewhere that the new mustang is the only vehicle ford is profiting on right now.....
Won't be worth as much when you trade it in, FYI.Black with Black interior would be my choice, I know, I know, hot, but I'll deal with it.
Everyone always just told me about it being hot, nothing about trade in value. Why would it depreciate so much?
Nobody (else) in Texas wants a black car with black leather seats.
well, i like being unique....
not that i plan on trading it in anyway though
My Bro inlaw has the I30 and he loves it. My I 35 is black with tan leather and chrome wheels, so I love the looks of it as well. Infiniti has gone away from the front wheel drive like our cars, and you can really see the difference betw the handling now.
I did not think I would like a sedan as much as my Lexus coupe, but I do....Infiniti is the only car I will buy from now on...I am sold.
My Lexus was black on black, but with AC, it matters not...a few minutes and you are cool again. They look nice, and that is all the matters.
In fact my last 5 cars have been black...when clean, no car is prettier.
and with remote start.... no prob
My Lexus SC 300 sold in 1 day.

I too like the "black on black", maybe if your a/c didn't work then no, but if its a new car, then yeah. add on some black rims with a chrome lip and i'm in heaven...![]()
What about the Honda S2000?
As long as you dont mind a convertible.
And did not mention the Lance Evo MR
and the Subaru WRX.
never thought of going with a Honda, but the Ridgeline has been catching my eye...
I just bought a 05 Cadillac CTS for $38K. I love it.
impressive, nice buy, how many miles though?
Only 600.
nice, no offense, but I don't think I meet the age requirment to drive a Caddy yet.![]()
You sold the Porche?
Hmm, Nissan Z's are actually a completely different car to the latest Skylines. Similar engines, but different cars. It's actually a Nissan 350Z which is the latest in the the long line of Z series cars such as 300ZX, 280 ZX etc. They have nothing to do with Skylines as far as I know. They're aren't any "new" Skylines in the USA, they're actually relabeled as Nissan Z or Infiniti G35, I'd be looking into a Nissan Z if it wasn't a 2 seater.
Perhaps the new Skylines are rebadged as Infiniti in the USA, if that is the case there is NO WAY I would spend $50K US on one, NO WAY. Personally I'd much rather find an R34 GT-R Skyline, a 98 Twin Turbo Toyota Supra or an 98 Twin Turbo Lexus Soarer. I don't know what they go for in the States, but you can find a bombed out Supra or Soarer from those years for around $30K AUS and a GTR for about $70K AUS. You would have loads of money to spend customising your car with better paint, interior, sound system, rims, tyres, exhausts, kits and everything under the sun. I have friends that have gone out and bought GTO's for $60K and my car looks better than them, is faster than them, has better sounds than them for like 25% of the price.
