So at a time when the NFL is doing all they can to make the game as safe as possible it's time to bring in the weaker sex, and you really think that makes sense?
So if she gets hurt are you telling me the fact she's a small female won't be an issue, right?
I saw this more than once in my football career.....
This is why I'm dead set against women on a football field. And anyone with any common sense would feel the same way. Now imagine that big guy being a little female. And thast looked like a HS game, imagine if those were NFL players.
How about we cool the silly internet and talk like intelligent people ok? You don't put 140 pound women in danger if you don't have to. You honestly don't understand that?

Dude, I've ran over refs myself, I've been in games where refs were carted off the field. And that was just HS ball.

There is the potential here for bodily harm for all these officials, that's understood. So you intentionally put a woman in that situation for no reason of any kind? That makes sense to you, right?
There are women sprinters who can out run some NFL wide receivers, what if they could also catch a football...well?
a) dont move the goal post from officiating to playing wide receiver
B) Chris Paul is one player and not representative of the entire nba
C) he said the ref made a poor judgment call and said maybe isn't fit to be an NBA ref
D) he never said it was a gender issue, and never said the NBA isn't a place for woman refs
Avante. I'm pretty sure she will be a side/line judge. She won't be in the middle of the field....
But even with saying that....side judges have gotten blown up before. But they're not putting her in there with the linebackers....so the potential for injury is much, much less.
i still think some of the old male refs are more likely to get hurt than she is

When I was 12 I was big as the 16 year olds and just as strong and fast. So when I got hurt in a street game (ran into a car) it was...."what is a 12 year old doing out there". I know...zooooommmmmmmmmmmmmmm!!!!!!!!

What happens when she takes her first hit and gets hurt? People need to stop being Politically Correct and stop the nonsense. Yes.. it’s great women are included in the sport as refs. But does it make sense? Is she more in danger of getting hurt that an old guy? I’ll call it a wash. But she is “NO WHERE” Near physically comparable to the men playing in the NFL. At least when a male refs gets run over, hit, it’s like shake it off. Can you imagine what the media is going to do the first time she is in the wrong place at the wrong time? You don’t think the payers on the field aren’t going to notice where she is and be extra careful? And if they aren’t? How will the media treat that first player that trucks her.
Dude, there are tons of that sort of thing out there, lots of us who get it. But....not at all surprised you don't, you never do.
