They SHOULD have been. Tonight was a golden opportunity. Unfortunately, they paid the wrong QB and coach.
Any team in their right mind would have beaten the Pats tonight. Fortunately, the Bills are just as bad or worse than Houston on offense, so expect the same stuff next weekend.
HOU should still win the division easily and possibly contend for a bye in the weak AFC... AFC north is going to beat up on each other and AFC west doesn't have any great teams

Fwiw I still bet on you guys, I picked you guys to win this game at the beginning of the season (I rarely change pick-ems so early in the year), was very tempted to change it after Garoppolo went down but did not change my pick-em at the last minute. The thread was an overreaction to losing Garoppolo and my thinking was Brissett is a rookie option QB so Houston SHOULD win but Belichick vs OBrien and Osweiler sucking were the x-factors. I stayed with the Pats tonight, fortunately.
I own up to that thread being a bit of an overreaction but the point still stands. Houston had the opportunity of a season and laid a ing goose egg.

and for the proof I had the Pats winning all along, refer to the post at the beginning of the season where I had the Patriots with an 8-0 reg season home record. Can't do that without this game.
