Glad Manu's back, but this board is a disgrace for not wanting Parker back tbh.

When I think about Tony's return, I think about his DEFENSE not his offense. And it's definitely a liability. Especially if he's having a bad offensive night and can't penetrate it's even worse. And with the injury I doubt he can penetrate anymore.
Please not a Parker vs Ginobili thread.
I guess the sea levels will eventually float him out of San Antonio
TS% would be a more accurate metric, however.
For players that don't get to the line much and don't shoot a lot of threes, TS% is fairly worthless
Thats sad niggie, it seems you have a very short memory, this was Manu, not LMAO, not Kawhi, not Simmons or any other young gun.
Playoffs, at almost 40 years old delivering the goods vs a 400 mil dollar ¨superstar¨

Glad to have ginobili back. alot of fans just weren't ready to say goodbye yet, with me included.
Manu can stay as long as long as he wants far as I'm concerned. He still shows more heart than most of our team.
He produced the most memorable night I've ever watched in person. Welcome back, Manu. One more time.
Manu's heart has never been in question, hopefully his body at least tries to do a tenth of what his heart wants to do.
With Simmons gone and no new guard, it could be worse. Hopefully, he doesn't take so much that Pau gets a two-year deal.
It's the easiest way for PATFO to fill seats, so why not?
League Pass purchase, confirmed, a couple of games attendance, confirmed, farewell jersey buy, confirmed...![]()
i'm just waiting on the details of manu's can pau's contracts before i make any judgement. my main thing is summer of 2018 and our cap space.
Great news! Manu brings a lot passion and energy. Nobody brings the people in like him. It will be great seeing him this season!
Is Manu going to have to take a big paycut to make this work under the cap? Because they're not using the MLE for Gay, as that would need to be a three year contract I think. So after signing Gay that leaves around $16 million for Manu and Pau. So I wonder if this is something like Pau signing a 3 years, $33 million deal or so and then Manu gets the other roughly $5 million? I'd love to see Manu get $14 million again after the paycuts he took in his prime but I don't think the team could work that under the cap without saying bye to Gasol or Aldridge.
Could have said that last year, and the year before that.
The Spurs are totally using the MLE on Gay.
Can you do that on a two year deal under the current CBA? I know you couldn't before.
