Ok but who cares? Nothing against him but why the constant Carmelo Anthony watch. Holy crap, they had Derek Rose, Anthony, Porzingis on one team and before that it was Amare and Anthony and before that it was Iverson and Anthony. Nothing, nothing....aaaand...nothing. But still its "Carmelo this and Carmelo that".

And CP3 had been way more relevant than Anthony. Hes just got his heart broken alot more.

I make a factual point (that Melo had advanced past where Paul has in playoffs) in response to "Melo has never won" and it digresses into "oh but who cares".

And getting his heart broken? Most of those times he was he reason for implosion. You also can't equate playing with Blake when he was a top 10 player and a semi-functional franchise to the Knicks, who ran Amare into the ground before Melo got there. Yes, Melo is a part of the ongoing dysfunction but he's far from the only cause.

any team with the exception of the Warriors truly relevant? I mean yeah the Rockets on account of making a big move and then w/e team Lebron is on will always be relevant, but other than that it's just every other team.

Well, they are on ESPN's opening night telecast.

I guess the league wants to spotlight the Sixers, Knicks, Lakers, Timberwolves and Pelicans. Teams that have made a lot of noise the last couple of seasons.

NBA fans and the NBA general has a short term memory, its about what have you done for me lately... Had the Spurs signed Kyrie or some big name star they would be headlining.

All that matters is the Wins vs losses at the end of the season.. doesn't matter the national headlines, if the Spurs are at the top of their division they will get the attention they deserve.
