I don't have a problem with him getting his money. He earned it. He played for a few million per for a few years before that(charity work for what he was worth at the time). This deal would've been done before had he not injured his shoulder. This will probably be his last big payday anyway. If there's anyone in here that wouldn't take a deserved raise for years of hard work and professionalism, please let me know. I know I'd take the raise. His employer felt he was worth it and gave it to him. This is how much the Spurs value him. Who care what some crusty arm chair GM thinks of him. We only get a glimpse into what they see.
