If I understand what you're asking, assuming that the Superdome is not up to par, they'll need some place to play next year. And they probably want to stay in one place, not like this year. From what I've read, LSU is not interested. However, all of this is just speculation because Benson has said that he won't begin negotiations until after this season.

Why would you want to have "Saints" (in any language) used twice in the name?
San = Saints
San Antonio = Saint Anthony

I'm not for the move anyway, but I can't believe that SA would welcome a temporary move for one year! Like I said in another post, the NFL and Benson are proving that they don't respect us. They're treating us like a second rate city.The worst part about this, they know that all they have to do is "dangle a carrot" in front of the people of SA, and they'll go for it, all while Tags and Benson are laughing at us. Ask yourselves if this is what you, the people of SA want? Do we even want an owner like Benson? I wouldn't and don't!!!
But..........if SA should ever get a team, they should be called the:
SAN ANTONIO TOROS
Why? Because, I believe that the semi-pro team, " San Antonio Toros" of the late 60's and early 70's were the most successful football team the city has ever had. The colors were black, white, and red. Besides, Toros sounds more intimidating than the....(sigh) Saints.
