If you've served and been at risk of "going in" you don't want war. Nobody does. Just sayin what's going down in Europe as unfortunate as it may be it's kinda not our problem... yet. So my thought is that we shouldn't be giving speeches that say everything to get Ukrainians hopeful but stop short of actually helping. Just stay out of it and don't seem like you are just using it to score cheap political points. This is something this lousy Administration has done, over and over.

Just to share.... I was deployed in 99 to Albania when we bombed Yugoslavia and while my team were critical to the Geo-positioning of our bombs, it was a terrible memory/experience when it was all over. I was the boss and we executed our mission to a the T. A few of my soldiers had huge second doubts due to them possibly being responsible for unintended casualties. However they felt inside they just followed the orders given. All in all, nobody truly wants any of this. Sometimes you just have to do what you are told.

Their firms can't buy or sell things, we have isolated their military industrial complex form the things they need to function.
Their sovereign debt has been downgraded to junk status.
The Swiss have imposed financial sacctions. The Germans have started to provide lethal aid to a war zone, both unprecedented.
Ukraine is fighting for its existence. Their leader has done a rather remarkable job thus far.
Not really sure what more can be done that wouldn't trigger the final world war.
As for accomplishments, Republicans are doing everything they can to prevent him from doing anything he would like to do, for the sole reason so that asshats like you can say "why isn't he doing anything". They don't give a about helping anyone, or doing their ing jobs.
