Not so much about prioritizing Barnes over Sochan as it is just making sure you have one competent vet on the floor at all times.

I get that aspect but I personally dont think it supersedes the importance of letting Wemby/Sochan work together as much as possible.

My only problem with this rotation is that I think it shorts Castle and Champ of minutes that they should be getting.

Let's go a bit deeper...assuming that CP3/Devin/Jeremy/Barnes/Wemby is the starting lineup when Devin returns, how would you stagger minutes?

As I said before, I think our bench unit will be an issue and that Devin should play with them, kind of how Middleton does.

Jeremy and Castle shouldn't spend many minutes on the floor together unless we try going small when Wemby sits. It's not like Collins offers any rim protection.
Or just play Bassey with three shooters.

Castle/Devin/Keldon/Mamu/Bassey to end the first quarter and begin the second looks good enough.
Or even have Keldon check in early with Champagnie and have both Devin and Barnes play with the bench in the first half.

Back to small lineup, I think that Castle/Devin/Barnes/Jeremy/Mamu could mitigate the lack of true big against most benches and we could just run them off the floor.

I’m puzzled by Pop’s grades not taking into consideration what he did and didn’t do at the end of the game. Spurs were down by 11 with more than two minutes to play and he threw in the towel. Call time outs, set up fouls, be aggressive on the bench, something. Show the players that this matters to him. I’d rather them go all out but still lose by 5 points or so than just let them coast to the loss. Unacceptable leadership.

I guess players like FVV, Danny Green don’t belong in the league? Champ worked hard with his shots. He got quick release and was not hesitant. He took it to the rim when his defender got took close, played great defense. It’s next-man-up, and would be great for our bench players to take advantage of every opportunity like Champ is doing.

His teammates being bad and him playing bad can both be true.

Spurs were compe ive for 3 quarters, and then the stars took over. Spurs have 1, and he didn't show up.

I didn't like the preordained messages coming from the Spurs that wemby would start the season rusty and playing bad. In the end, Spurs aren't competing right now and maybe that's they're bottom line. They don't care how bad of a product they push as long as they keep wemby healthy, everything else doesn't matter.

Wemby definitely needs to mature with his shot selection and decision making but he's still a kid with the whole defense focused on him at all times. It'll slow down. He'll be fine.

Not enjoying the reserved role for stephon castle. He clearly needs to be on the court more. I wanted him to play second unit to get the ball more. In the 4th, that unit kept looking him off. Wesley and branham both playing for the same spot as him isn't healthy for his development. Yes, he can't shoot, but neither can the rest of the team.

Still, 3 quarters of compe iveness besides wemby doing everything he can to throw the game away was a good sign for the team improving.

Wemby will play better. Castle will eventually get more lead minutes. Vassell helps the starters quite a bit and champ will mesh well with castles game when the lineup set.

Not sure what you were expecting from the rest of the team, wemby played like flaming garbage, by far the worst player on the court relative to their abilities, and the rest of the team did well. Champaigne was great, Barnes couldn’t miss, sochan did well outside of a few mistakes (expected), KJ0 settled in, castle showed up. That allowed them to stay sighing striking distance of the defending WC champs.

A team with their best player playing the worst possible game (I hope) and still being able to hang with a good team isn’t having bad teammates.

Stop being a 2005 laker fan and blaming everyone except Kobe. It’s disgusting.

- Just FYI I've been more critic on Wemby than any other players for weeks, so whatever movie you keep playing in your head needs an update.
