I live in Australia and the release date isnt until march. We dont get the product until later in most cases and in this case much later. I haven't preordered one as I dont believe in buying consoles straight out I wait for a price drop.

oh, ok, I didn't notice the flag. I don't have enough patience to wait for a price drop. By that time, the next console is coming out. I don't expect the 360 to drop in price anytime soon. Not until after all 3 next gen consoles have been out for a while.

As much as I have been impressed by the 360, I can't even imagine how great the graphics will be on the PS3

I don't fall for anyones hype until I see it with my own eyes. I refrained from taking any "screenshots" seriously until I played demos on my own, then I was blown away(Call of Duty 2, NBA2K6, Kameo). Hopefully PS3 delivers on its promises, I hope they streamline their online capabilities like the Xbox though. I can't wait for an online GTA. Imagine the gangfights!

Well, the Xbox was released a year or so after the PS2 and while the graphics were better, the difference was hardly noticeable. I am figuring that the difference between the Xbox 360 and PS3 will be about the same. I still going to buy a PS3, if only for the exclusive les.

The PS3 will look good to, but as far as the "differences", it will be about like going to the HD aisle at Best Buy and looking at a Philips sitting next to a Samsung... not much.

but being able to "watch" something on that Samsung that you can't on the Philips is definitely a reason to buy both.
