The trade was for the best of the Bucks' 2nd rounders next year. Not for both of them.
They could've had their 1st rounder this year to take a stab at a James White. Last year they could've had a David Lee or a Monta Ellis. Oh yeah, and the perfect small ball big in the playoffs.
The trade was for the best of the Bucks' 2nd rounders next year. Not for both of them.
damn, a future second round pick could've gotten Leon Powe.
And the mantra begins anew.
Good night then.
after what we have seen n heard, the west just got tougher imo, fukn houston got battier out of gay.
Tell whottt 'sup for me when you hit the sack.
What the was Houston thinking? Gay is gonna be a star and they let him go for Battier? Houston is dumb.
=(
for some reason, the timing and placement of that smiley made me laugh for quite some time... is it too late?
Trade made no sense. Battier has proven he´s nothing but a role player, Gay could actually turn into a t-mac type. They did it just to dump Swift´s contract which is just stupid.
i belive there might be some tough trade for spurs
wait.......................
So we traded the 59th pick in a weak draft (according to experts) for a pick that should be between 40 and 50 in a good draft.
Good deal.![]()
Favorite Markota moment?
Drafted by the spurs !
Yes, it is funny. Let's see who got his/her dreams crushed:

By bull analysts. "Oh Greg Oden, I have wet dreams about you." Next year will be the worst ever based on expectations, there is no way it can live up to them.
We should give up all of our players except: Tim, Tony, Manu, Bruce, Finley, Horry, Bonner
and trade them for draft picks, trying to get every single second round pick in 2007.
That's what I get for signing off early last night -- I thought we actually had a guy.
Oh well -- goodbye Mr. Euro guy I'd never heard of.
Anybody got any ideas on what the we're going to do now?
We could get wasted!!!![]()

them all as you said. Trade them for the lottery guy 2007.
In playoffs there is an 8-man rotaion so as you said but trade for the top15 guy.
Lousy draft class and 59th pick didn't leave much to choose from. When you don't like what's left on the board, why get stuck with a mandatory pick if you can get rid of it and save the salary.
Most of those guys left out of the draft at the time we picked can be picked up for a song and put on minor league status or short term contracts to see if they work out--without making a big dent in our money situation.
What happens if T-MAc has the same back pain and Yao has foot problems again and they win something like 24 games? We get their second round pick?
I'd give your left nut for Greg Oden.
Does this mean the Spurs 2006 Draft Day Cap will be going on sale soon?![]()
