Your scrubs got dinked and dunked by Brady Quinn in the 4th quarter of the PS game. Your season's doomed!!

Matt Millen is my favorite GM, I'm glad hes the GM of the Lions and not the Niners.
We'll from talking to people around town, it looks like we're right on track yet again...
I've never heard this one...

This guy walks into a bar wearing a Lions jersey and carrying a little dog that also has a Lions jersey on with a little Lions helmet, too.
The guy says to the bartender, 'Can my dog and I watch the Lions game here? My TV at home broke and my dog and I want to see the game'
The bartender replies, 'Normally, dogs in the bar would not be allowed, but it is not terribly busy in here, so you and the dog can have a seat at the end of the bar. But, if there is any trouble with you or the dog, I'll have to ask you to leave.' The guy agrees and he and his dog start watching the game.
Pretty soon the Lions kick a field goal and the dog jumps up on the bar and walks down the bar and gives everyone a high five.
The bartender says, 'Hey, that's cool! What does he do for a touchdown?'
The guys answers, 'I don't know, I've only had him for 3 years.'
Aaaahhhhhhh.....
Now thats the Lions team Im used to watching.
Worst 2-0 team ever. See ya when theyre 2-6.
That's the problem with Kitna. His yards are always great, but he is horrible in the RZ. I don't understand it. Not that that would have mattered today. Turn his turnovers into TD's and we still lose.
Eagles O-line looked real good today. Not sure if it was rush or they just decided to play. I went to high school with Jon Runyan, he's a good lineman, but really thought we would be able to get pressure on McNabb.
Kitna and the offense are not the problem. At all, not even slightly.
When your defense gives up 54 points, you cant expect your offense to make up for that.
Lions Blow. Thats the problem.
Ya I know. Our Defense is really really bad. I just was trying to say that if Kitna could tighten up in the Rz and cut down on his mistakes, I think we'd still have a chance at a decent season. But you're right, if the defense does the same and cuts down their mistakes, we'd actually be a good football team.
Oh well. Been a lions fan for 25 years, got to see our only playoff victory, guess that'll have to do for a while.![]()
We're moving along a little slower this year, but still right on track...
Still not happy with this team.
It's nice that they're closing out and pulling away in close games, but they shouldn't even be in that position. The Lions could have put the Bears away early but continued to kill drives with blown assignments, penalties, TOs, etc. Plus, if they don't start getting better pass protection, Kitna won't make it past Week 8.
They're making progress and that's a good thing, but they still have a lot of work to do.
These Lions fans are tough!I think they're playing pretty well.
The Lions....errrr.....uhhh.....hmmmmm...
Won?
WTF?
Got my bad-mojo working.
They are making progress - finally.
The return of KJ has helped immensely. Defense is getting better each week and we are seeing glimpses of how much of a stud CJ can be.
The road only gets tougher for them with seven of their last nine against teams .500 or better.
Pleasantly surprised, but still not sold.
I don't know. I really think they can finish 10-6. After seeing KJ today, I know it was against a depleted and worn down bears D, but they looked pretty good. I still wish we could do better in RZ attempts though. Seems we're always going for FG's.
And yes, CJ is going to be a stud. Kitna needs to stop holding onto the ball so dang long also.
Well, this thread couldnt have a worse le. Im still reserved in my judgement of them due to years of pessimism and failure.
If/When they get 8 wins, I'll start dancing. Denver was a team that a good team should beat....the Lions routed them. Really, really fun to watch the Lions rout someone for a change....
Props on that win yesterday. Hopefully both Dallas and Detroit will in on Turkey Day this year.
I must say I was impressed with the Lions win.
I haven't said that in damn near a decade.
But, I don't understand how they can be getting blown out one game (Eagles) and then just ass ramming a team the next.
Props to the Detroit D.
I should've picked them up for my FF team, I could've done with the points.
