Harmless? The THC in marijuana causes you to point a loaded deer rifle at your best friend and pull the trigger. Harmless? You decide.

People that get drunk regularly are not pathetic either, some do it for fun in fact. The ones that have lost control and are having their lives ruined because of it have a disease and usually need help. Nothing pathetic about it, they have just made some bad decisions in their life, or have had things happen to them that were out of their control and need to get both feet on the ground again. I applaud the ones that do recover and I pity the ones that don't, but I sure as wouldn't ever call them pathetic because some of them are probably the greatest people on Earth and need the help from others rather then the criticism that some are so quick to give out.
When did I say anything about the people who are truly sick? I only wonder about those who need to get drunk to have fun.

Do you want to know what kids do? They throw out insults towards a person or persons without having any idea what made that person the way he/she is. Kind of like the statement you made regarding people that drink regularly.
Huh? You make no ing sense.

I never insulted anybody (pathetic is not much of an insult, although I take the word pathetic back, given that it makes you so uncomfortable) except you, because I was attacked by you since your first post.

So I ask you, who is acting like the child? I'm doing it out of fun and boredom here at work on a Friday afternoon, you are doing it out the coldness of your black heart.
    Seriously, how old are you?

yeah. Drunks aren't always pathetic. It can lead back to a tramatic event in their lives or something of that nature. Now pot...I don't have anything against potheads that don't drive or heaven forbid FLY while stoned, cause they's usually just in their own little happy world and are just fine with most other people, and personally, I think that we should give free pot to the extremists....cause then they'd be happy...cause this is all that war is about is it not??? lol pot???? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA j/k

"give free pot to the extremists.."

    uh...

    assassin:

Etymology: Medieval Latin assassinus, from Arabic hashshish
n, plural of hashshishin, one who smokes or chews hashish,
hashish addict, from hashish, hemp, hashish

Usually capitalized : one of a secret order of Muslims that at the time of the Crusades terrorized Christians and other enemies by secret murder committed under the influence of hashish.

    September 18, 2006 - Washington, DC, USA

Washington, DC: Police arrested an estimated 786,545 persons for marijuana violations in 2005, according to the Federal Bureau of Investigation's annual Uniform Crime Report, released today. The total is the highest ever recorded by the FBI, and comprised 42.6 percent of all drug arrests in the United States.

"These numbers belie the myth that police do not target and arrest minor marijuana offenders," said NORML Executive Director Allen St. Pierre, who noted that at current rates, a marijuana smoker is arrested every 40 seconds in America. "This effort is a tremendous waste of criminal justice resources that diverts law enforcement personnel away from focusing on serious and violent crime, including the war on terrorism."

Of those charged with marijuana violations, approximately 88 percent some 696,074 Americans were charged with possession only. The remaining 90,471 individuals were charged with "sale/manufacture," a category that includes all cultivation offenses even those where the marijuana was being grown for personal or medical use. In past years, roughly 30 percent of those arrested were age 19 or younger.
    NORML

Special interests need new "customers" in the criminal "justice" system on a continuous basis. Craven cops, prosecutors, defense lawyers, bail bondspersons, prison guard unions, private prison builders/operators, and on and on --- all have a stake in making sure there's lots of new "criminals" to leech off.
