I dont want to hear excuses for the back to back for the lakers. the mavs are 9-0 on the 2nd nights of back to backs and that includes road wins @ phx and @ spurs on the 2nd night. Elilte teams know how to win games no matter when there played. the lakers arent quite on that level yet

Nobody said the Lakers are elite. And they're not. I just laugh at all the Dallas fans that think they're already in the Finals.
Mavs just have too much for the lakers tonight. George and Buckner are the best defenders against Kobe not named Bowen. Maybe add Prince in as well but I think we got a very solid defense. I Avery realized I was going to tank and took me out. Nice to have a computer at halfcourt.

I certainly wasn't expecting a victory tonight. The odds were against it. It is no secret that the Lakers need to be at full strength to beat the Mavs, in Dallas!
Maybe not you per say. In fact maybe it's more Suns fans than anything else. But all I see is threads about how either the Suns or Mavs are already in the Finals.

I don't think any Laker fans think they will be. We are way to young, Bynum is not ready for the big time, and we need a better PG.

Back to backs are a disadvantage to all teams. You have no chance to prepare for your opponent while the Mavs had plenty of time to prepare for the Lakers.

Kobe missing that dunk was golden, did you see him smile nervously when the fans totally heckled him? When he was finally able to dunk on the next play on their end, Kobe was found looking at and nodding to those fans who heckled him.
