I blame our sorry excuse for politicians saying that word [change] every .235 seconds.
Right. Before that, they lost a lot. They lose, then they change and don't lose.

I guess I don't see playing better and winning more games as a "change".
A change in results, perhaps. But normally when people "call for a change", they're thinking about something more than just hoping and praying that the team starts to win more games.
Does it count as a loss if I didn't watch it end?
There's a lot less ing on the board. That changes too.I guess I don't see playing better and winning more games as a "change".
What are you talking about? I rewatched the end of the game and Manu gets the rebound off a Cavs miss, runs back and settles for a jumpshot, missed it, and the game ends.
So how much time on the clock was there when Manu caught the ball and ran the whole court?
The Cavs? Just beating the teams they're supposed to beat.
I actually don't think the Spurs played that bad. They were getting shots they wanted. Their defense was decently solid other than when LeBron wasn't on the floor.
Duncan played well ... he just couldn't hit the shots he always makes. Add in a better offensively performance by Duncan and some better shooting (Bowen, Oberto, Elson, Horry, Barry, Vaughn, Udoka and Bonner combined for 4-for-18), the Spurs easily win the game. Oh and getting outrebounded by 5, turning the ball over more and shooting sub-70% from the line doesn't help
I can live with loses like this where the Spurs fight much more than I could live with those loses earlier in the season where the Spurs just didn't come to play.
True, they actually tried this time -- so I can't complain too much about this one game. I can complain about their not trying all that often though.
Fair enough. It does seem pretty ridiculous.
Thank you.
With all the crap being posted tonight someone finally sums it up perfectly.
They played like they cared tonight. They had energy. It didn't go their way.
Blaming the refs is weak. Demanding trades is weak.
This team will come together, they always do. Everything before the RRT is a learning curve. They come out of that trip a different team. A team that begins the push to SPAM and the Playoffs. And that's when everyone that's written the Spurs off all of a sudden notices them.
The trolls I can tolerate, it's their job to stir the pot. But the supposed Spurs fans who jump with every loss make me crazy. If you're a real Spurs fan you should be quite used to the mid winter Spurs blues. I can't remember a season where it didn't happen. Relax. The Spurs we know and love will appear at just the right time.
Wow! A smart Mavericks fan! (I haven't met many!) We could use you on our bandwagon!
That's the kind of at ude you want from a guy you'd have to share a foxhole with.
yep the lads won despite Larry and Sasha missing the shots they were supposed to miss.
A co-ed foxhole?
losing to a team we are meant to lose
fck this
The Spurs play one quarter tonight and you guys see some sunshine. Frickin homers I swear.
Sequ spur watches one game this year and they lose and is back off the wagon.
idiots i swear.
homer.
I thought we were going to get blown out after being up 10 initially so the fact that we even clawed all the way back keeps this loss from stinging too much. If we can just stop digging early holes we'll be blowing teams out with our effort late in the game. Bring on SPAM es!
we lost to this team in the regular season last year
