Oh I get it but my argument was his elbow was ruled a foul, how is that sportmanship? It should have been no call.

You got nothing huh?
Just like I thought, no explanation on why a foul was called if it was as you es say, a basketball move.
Cause it can still be an offensive foul if it is a accidental elbow, but not suspension worthy
I already gave you an explanations. Dirk does his signature move with his back to the basket and pump fakes and instead of Lebron jumping up like most do he sticks his face in there. It was a big surprise to Dirk that Lebron was willing to take a elbow to get the ball back.
ya.....
just like a travelling violation is unsportsman like
just like a kickball is unsportsman like
just like palming is unsportsman like
your really reaching for something that just isnt there.
307 posts of idiocy.
That's enough.
Bring something to the table or find your way out of the forum, thanks.
Im not reaching, like I said, i dont believe any player should be suspended for that.
We're not talking about that other stuff, we're talking about an elbow to the face. Those things you listed are not suspendable infractions. Any contact above the shoulders is.
If Its Unsportsman Like What Dont You Understand About That?
Dirk extends his elbow to hit someone in the face it is suspendable. If Dirk does his routine offensive move and someone puts their face in the way and Dirk doesn't extend his elbow than it isn't suspendable. I know you got pride and don't want to lose an argument but please do it on another thread. This thread has already been lossed for you.
Bring something to the table? Please! An elbow is an elbow, I dont care what the cir stances!
f. An elbow foul is making contact with the elbow in an unsportsmanlike manner whether the ball is dead or alive.
Unsportsmanlike conduct (or unsporting behaviour, or archaically ungentlemanly conduct): a term used in most professional sports to refer to a particular player or team who have acted inappropriately and/or unprofessionally in the context of the game.
Dirk did not act inappropriately, he did not elbow with INTENT.
Kobe, after review from the NBA, did.
Now its 309 posts of idiocy. I really cant believe how dense you are. If you cant realize that there is a difference between sportsmanlike and unsportsmanlike, than you truly are an idiot
I already showed him the rule book, he still didnt get it, I think he might be 12

Oh the old INTENT definition. Who determines INTENT? How convenient. Kobe did not intend to elbow Manu either. happens!
I believed that myself until he DID THE EXACT SAME THING TO JARIC. Thats when I realized it was intentional
What was Kobe intending to do when he extended that elbow than? It was not like Manu was close to his elbow.
Okay, lets say Jaric was intentional, although Jaric himself did not believe it to be and the league suspends Kobe, it was no justification for the Manu suspension because it was the first warning about him flinging his arms to clear space and get the ball back. What's the difference between that first infraction and Dirks elbow? Forget about the intent because none of us can say what was going on in those players mind at the time
Ponky, quick, look away, before you become dumber talking to this fool
