No . If the Spurs lost last night, we would be the embarrassment of the NBA.
I'd much rather hear Suns complain abotu conspiracy theories, than hear them laugh in our faces if they beat us without Amare!
Stopped reading right there![]()
Losing their most dominant player sure didn't hurt the Suns, who normally score 100+ in this series, in a game where they lost by 3 while putting up 85. And it goes beyond this game of course. Missing a starter and a key bench player for a team who already has a short rotation, a lot of these guys are going to be exhausted for game 6 on the road.
I think the point was, even without Amare and Diaw, they still had a great chance to win the game.
Bottom line: You can't blame the Spurs that the Suns lost. The Suns had plenty of chances, and the Spurs shot horribly, they were lucky they won.
I don't understand how true fans think the Suns have lost the series... if anything, the fact that game was so close, and not a blow out as many predicted, worries me as a Spurs fan.
Suns just need to win game 6 with a healthy, rested, and vengeful Amare leading them. in' nut up, Suns fans!
????????????????
I'm well aware that the league suspended Diaw and Amare and I'm well aware it was because of a rule. I wasn't trying to say that it was incorrect, just saying that Boris and Amare's absence affected the Suns. No where did I blame the Spurs or anything that they did, and nowhere did I say that the Spurs didn't deserve it or play hard. Sorry to burst your bubble, but all Suns fans don't think alike.
At least you have an excuse for losing, which is the most important thing.

Dude, once again, there's a difference between a reason and an excuse. For example, the reason that the Spurs lost in game three is because they grew overconfident and did not make defensive stops when they had to, as well as let their offense go stagnant when Phoenix surprised them with the double team. That is not an excuse. That is a reason. The reason that Phoenix lost is because our starter's played too many minutes and as a result of that we could not execute offensively. No need for the hostility.
I couldn't get past that first sentence![]()
Please stop quoting a quote. It doesn't make you look cool. It just makes you look like a ing bag actually.
Whatever makes you feel better.
Fact is, they had 2 starters suspended over some bull and still almost won.
FWIW, I think your posts have been mostly decent and full of reason. I think you're just catching because you're bretheren have been less than typical, incompetent homers. Don't mind the misdirected anger, at this point we're not sure what else to respond with.![]()
But what do I know, I'm a Spurs fan.![]()
You still can't say for sure if you would have won with Amare, but I guess you'll have a shot in Game 6. And the Spurs will be without Horry, so you have a good chance at taking another one in San Antonio. No excuses either way.

You know how when someone says something really cheesy and you feel embarassed for them? It's kinda like that...
yeah, that fits you to a t
Didn't San Antonio win game 3? Try proofreading. It works.
Also, the rest of the stars played heavy minutes for 2 reasons:
1. Because Amare and Diaw were suspended. I won't go into if it was deserved, I'll stick with the facts.
2. Because, in my opinion, D'Antoni is a ty coach who made ty subs ution decisions. Whether your scrubs suck ass or not, they are there for one reason: To give the stars and starters a rest.
Or when someone says something that is really out of place and makes no sense...
or when someone can't comprehend elementary colloquial phrases.
Its not a matter of comprehension. Its a matter of relevance. See when you make a statement it is a declaration in speech or writing, setting forth facts, particulars etc.
