We lost to a bunch of fluke players making fluke shots, and the refs screwed us but good. Enough with the Spurs and their 3 rings talk and how that makes them a "dynasty." The Mavericks are the true Dynasty. The late eighties Maverick teams featuring Rolando Blackman and Mark Aguirre represent the greatest dynasty in all of U.S. pro sports history. To wit:

    1) 5 straight winning seasons
    2) 1986-87 Midwest Division champs
    3) Appeared in 1988 Western Conference Finals
    4) Roy Tarpley, 87-88 Sixth Man of the Year
    5) Dallas' Reunion Arena was host of the 1986 NBA All Star Game
    6) Strong at Center with reliable big man James Donaldson

You know what else we did? We knocked off the defending "champs" from the playoffs last year. And I only say "champs" because Detroit got screwed on all the calls and were the rightful winner.

    lol.... you forgot some though:

    7) Brad Davis jersey retired and hanging in the rafters of the AAC.
    8) Donald Hodge was always good for an after game smoke-out.
    9) If it weren't for Toni Braxton the 3 J's would still be reigning supreme.
    10) perennial shot blocking stud Shawn Bradley.

So while we are at it lets put an asterisk on Jordans first le because the Lakers and Magic Johnson were not as good as they once were. Also throw two on the Rockets les because Jordan was retired and not himself when he came back at first.

It sure did. I had to come in here and class this thing up. But that's par for the course. Good job me on being so classy towards fans of other teams that are not so fortunate. We can't all be Mavs fans but the least Mavs fans can do is take pity on other fans and not rub it in their faces that they don't cheer for Dallas.

Spurs Championships, A National Media Perspective:

    1999 - *Lockout Shortened Season

2003 - *Dirk Hurt in WCF

    2005 - *Lakers Split up

    Pending:

    2007 - *Amare's an Idiot
Where are the * beside the Suns or Mavs Championships?

Maybe 2006 should have one for Miami.

2006 - *Mavs commit one of history's worst choke jobs

That didn't go on when the Mavericks beat the Spurs last year, did it? We never heard anything about the refs handing the series to Dallas from Spurs fans, did we?

What's good for the goose is good for the gander.

Save your goose and your gander. I've always given Dallas and especially Dirk credit for beating the Spurs. You won't find a post in my history that says otherwise.

So like I said before, losers making excuses about winners is absolutely pathetic

Good job Spurs. You just went out and beat a short-handed team like you were supposed to. Don't let all the haters ruin the fun of another championship run. Just be glad you didn't run into the juggernaut that is the Dallas Mavericks. The best team, the best fans. Look at David Hasselhoff attack that burger the way we attacked teams during the regular season. Hasselhoff 67, Burger 15:

The Mavericks fans think this asterisk talk is important because the biggest win in their playoff history was a western conference semifinal series. You have to forgive them for their perspective.

Since we're on the subject of shooting guards and small forwards, Cadillac Anderson and Vinny Del Negro. That's funny. Aguirre, Blackman >>> Anderson, Del Negro.

San Antonio - 11 straight winning seasons.
Ping Pong Balls. Dallas had to go out and actually build a team. We didn't win the lottery. OWNED.

    San Antonio - 1999, 2003, and 2005 WORLD CHAMPIONS
Asterick, Fluke (Dirk got hurt), Fluke (Joe Johnson got hurt).

San Antonio - Appeared in 3 NBA Finals. AND WON ALL OF THEM
    Thanks to injuries and flukes

David Robinson, 1990 Rookie Of The Year,
LOL. How old was he at the time, 30?

    1995 MOST VALUABLE PLAYER,

San Antonio's At&t Center = host to 2 NBA Championship Celebrations
As a result of flukes. Besides, AAC >>>> At&t Center

Get it right - Weak at forward with an underserving MVP who choked against an 8 seed - Dirk Chokewitzki
Warriors were the best team in the league after the all-star break and their final W-L record was deceptive. Warriors and three refs did what Tim Duncan could not.

OWNED Spurs fan. You gotta bring better stuff than that.
