I knew plenty of sexually active 15 year old girls in high school who turned out just fine.
Sound's like he made a bad choice then, eh? Seems to me, if he'd of just kept his in his pants, neither would have happened.
I knew plenty of sexually active 15 year old girls in high school who turned out just fine.
Bad choice? Nope, I would have done/did the same thing.
Bad law? Yep, that might be why they have already changed this ed up law, and why the judge is trying to throw his conviction out the window.
I'm sorry, any 15 year-old girl that would go to a Motel 6 and blow every in the place isn't just fine.
And, I hasten to add, any 17 year-old male that would take advantage of a 15 year-old that would do that is a criminal.
I'm not forgetting this asshole was also videotaped screwing a semi-conscious 17 year old, either.
If this is all normal behavior to you guys, you're ed up.
What's the matter? Couldn't find a date your own age? I think your statement says more about you than the law.
I think that says more about his potential as an athlete than it does about the law. If he'd been a 17 year-old Math club member, I doubt it would have even made the news. But, because he's a star athlete with a box full of scholarship offers, somehow, it's a travesty.
We were 14 months apart in age, again how old are you and your wife/girlfriend?
If he'd been a 17 year-old white kid, it never would have gone to court. If he'd been a 17 year-old Math club member, I doubt it would have even made the news.
True words have never been spoken
I agree with most of what Yoni is saying . . . is that bad?
Well, I hope you guys never got head from your wives in Georgia before 1998.
You committed a felony that could have gotten you both 20 years in prison.
That is not my better profile.
Nice picture of me, though![]()
If you think 17 year olds should be thrown in prison for getting head from someone two years younger than them, then yes, that's bad.
, he might of been just 13 months older than her. But Yoni will tell you that he is a "man" and she is a "girl", she should not be held responsible for putting someones in her mouth.
You oversimplyfy the issue.
You're not exactly putting the act in it's proper context.
We're obviously not going to agree so, I'm dropping the argument.
I'm satisfied this prick has been sufficiently punished. And, now, others like him at least have an example of what can happen if you let your little head do the thinking for you.
I hope there are 17 year-olds out there, that have a box full of scholarship offers, who will at least think about this before they accept that invitation to the all-night kegger at the local La Quinta.
Right or wrong, justified or not, what happed to this guy could happen to anybody and, maybe, just maybe, they'll think twice before they put themselves in a similar situation.
I'm done with this thread.
That's been the trend in this thread...
How? Is that not what Wilson was charged with a felony for?
Wrong, that POS law has already been changed. So to all the 17 year old boys in Georgia...... Have a field day, go head hunting.
Changing the law didn't make it legal. Nor did it mean they wouldn't suffer any consequences if they engage in the practice.
It may mean the difference between a felony and a misdemeanor but, you still have to stand trial and, given the timing of this Wilson guy's arrest, there's no guarantee your future plans won't be derailed by a misdemeanor either.
The path to College is littered with scholarship recipients that have lost the opportunity for a variety of reasons, some as simple as a prank gone awry and some as serious as committing a felony.
There's no guarantee this guy would have still been offered a scholarship had his charge been reduced to a misdemeanor. But, yeah, go ahead, roll the dice on your future for a little head. Be my guest.
Pathetic.
Sister Mary, I thought you said you were "done with this thread."
I wonder how pissed you are going to be when Mr. Wilson gets let out and all charges against him dropped. Looks like you will have to take all your anger out on another African American.
So, I lied. Sue me.
I doubt we'll even know about it. It appears his college football career is down the tubes anyway so, he'll be old news by the time all the dust clears and the media won't be wanting his story.
I probably won't care.
And, as for being angry at this Wilson punk? I don't even know him. I was talking about the cir stance of the crime. Yeah, that angers me.
I could care less about his race. I would have felt the same if he'd of been white. But, whatever helps you sleep through the night.
Yoni, do you have any daughters? If so, I feel your pain. I don't think I could handle the pressure of raising a girl in todays society. I would be the WORST stalking father of modern times.
Every male who didn't think about sex every 0.02 seconds when he was 17 exit the thread.
