Oberto is a center who is not expected to score
Scola could be an All Star in the NBA
He's still young, but with Oberto's breakout performance in these playoffs do we still need him or should we trade up in the draft?

rather than talk about generalities can we atlk aobut specifics in his game?
Hows is his post defesne? Can he defend perimeter bigs like Nowitzki? How is his rebounding? Whats the range on his jumpshot? How extensive are his post moves? Does he favor one hand significanntly over the other? Can he run the floor? Can he beat guys with the dribble? How is his ball handling?
crickets
im tired of scola. went two years on this issue not going a third, if he comes he comes and if he dont he dont.
I remember a few articles about how the Spurs wanted him to focus more on rebounding. Can't say if he has improved much since then.
FWIW, Scola's rebounding avg in Europe, is superior than the reb avg of Oberto in Europe also, in the same Team, Tau Ceramica, and in Pamesa, a team inferior to Tau, and this season after season, not just cherrypicking a few games. You can comapre Scola and Oberto stats in www.acb.com or www.euroleague.net
As I always say, Oberto is a great player, saying Scola is an improved version of him (better mid range shoot, faster and more athletic, etc.) is not hating Fabricio, is just showing the reality.
