"The Original Scola thread"

Dude your avatars are hilarious.![]()
Didn't Nazr Mohammed drop 30 on the Suns once??
Nice, Scola's coming on his own. I wish him good luck -as long not when he plays against the Spurs.![]()
So for every game in which Scola plays great, you'll bring up a scrub who once posted similar numbers, preferably against such team. Yesterday it was Mengke Bateer, now it's Nazr's turn. Now all you've got to do is find one such scrub for every team in the league, and you've made sure nothing he ever does is worthy of note. Yup, that would seem to be the kind of incontrovertible argument only a superior mind could think of.
Oberto went 11-for-11 against Suns.
I wouldn't argue Scola's a scrub. It's just that his work would be duplicated with Oberto already here, and Scola would be limited in use compared to Oberto, since Oberto can guard centers.
Scola couldn't compete for minutes on this team, especially as a rookie.
Plus, as has been noted many, many times, Scola is scoring this high with T-mac out. Once T-mac returns, those shot opportunities dry up. I predict, eventually, Scola will end up a 10 pt, 5 rb guy.
Just watched Suns beat Rockets and, wow, Scola's a total thug. He's a flopper, a hacker, a fouler, and a cheapshot artist. I can understand why Spurs fans admire him so much. He'd fit right in on Pop's team.
Ahhh... if it isn't the quintessential Suns fan, trying to make up for their own shortcomings by b!tching and moaning about everyone else.

Suns fans never learn.
O look, the undercover Rocket fan with Scola's shlong placed firmly in his mouth.
You've got something specific to educate me about chief, or are you just up to that typical Spurs fan bull where you ignore my point and then go on and on about how many championships the Spurs have won, and how the Suns have never won it all? Blah blah blah. I've got one thing to say to you: *
How about instead you go ahead and suck a bag of s?
well actually I forgot I was still in this screen name and was gonna post under another one, but didn't log out.
What the are you talking about?
riiiight like the suns are perfect... nash flopped into yaos pick... how do you fall into a pick? wouldnt you fall backwards not into yao.
plus if the refs actually officiated yao correctly yao would shoot 15 free throws a game.

It's better to have 1* than none at all. You can't take it away from us.
Nothing wrong with having an asterisk, just as long as you get the footnote correct, capiche?

*Caution, trophies may induce extreme jealousy from the opposing team's fan base; especially Phoenix Sun fans.
Yeah? Well we're taking it away from you guys this year. The Spurs' evil reign of terror (and boring basetball) will soon be at an end. The Suns of righteousness shall rise and scorch thee.
Oh , sorry. I didn't realize you had made any points. Sounded like a bunch of bull and noise to me.
Suns fans act just like their coach.
they're just a bunch of whining es.
